  1. Just long enough for a 36" bunk,212" wb.
  2. Horrible tragedy .What goes thru these sick bastards minds??
  3. yep,DM492's,seen a bunch of them for sale in years past. Here's your test for the day,Vinny,What motor would they have had?
  4. Superliner found.I had to compromise a little on what I wanted, but in turn got a pretty clean,1 owner 1988 that I've known and been around since it was new. It's a E6-350,T2090,4:42 Mack rears on Neway, and 346,000 actual miles.A little TLC and new paint it should turn out OK
  5. I bought the engine at a trucking co.dispersal auction. The story I got is that it was a good running engine, the air compressor was replaced, something locked up in the new compressor, breaking the block where it mounted.I've had it close to 15 years or so.
  6. That one looks ready to work,Paul.I like it.looks like it has the wider radiator,is it a B815?I need to find a big headache rack with winch for my new B81.
  7. What really sucks is that I had this nice Mercury sleeper I bought at Walcott this summer and I went and got rid of it,it woulda been perfect for this truck.
  8. Yep,they were based out of Omaha, they used to have a terminal south of me near Ft.Madison, trucks used to be a robin egg blue, there's a patch on the back of my cab where the darker blue has rubbed off showing the robin egg color. They had several short wheelbase,V8 Westerns with bobbed bumpers and air starters.I have a B613LST that was also an ex-Hermann truck,it has an aluminum hood, cast aluminum air cleaner, air start, and aluminum beam Hendrickson suspension.
  9. Its a real solid truck, only a little rust along the back bottom ,came out of Texas.I like the fact it has budd wheels all the way around.
  10. Yes it does, supposed to be a good runner, and it has air start.I think it was an old Hermann Bros.(now Transwood) truck.
  11. I have an old 2 valve E6-300 that the air compressor got broke off so the block is junk, but the crank should still be good, been sitting in the barn along time,I'd sell you the whole engine for $300.
  12. I've seen pics of the DM's before, somewhere there was a couple advertised for sale awhile back in CA I think. Those F's are monsters.
  13. I should have but the Holmes with the booms stretched out works alot better for stuff like this.My part time helper Travis came over to drive the wrecker for me so I didn't have to climb in and out of it,I just ran the winches and hooked the chains.

  16. That is a sweet little B42,like the trailer too.
  17. according to the bolt holes, nobody shortend it,it was just damn short wheelbase
  18. After trying to climb up in the Brockway today,I might just cut it in half and weld the wrecker half to the RS and make it a wrecker.I didn't think I did that much today, but bythe time we were done and Joey left,it was time for a pain pill.Damn thing has been acting like it wants to pop outta joint,so I guess it ain't healing right or something.
  19. My 1999 CH613 left for it's new home today, not often a Mack leaves here, but it does happen once in a great while. The good news is 2 took it's place.Got this B81 and RS795 in on trade.Wish I would have got a picture of them loaded but didn't have my camera.Really sharp 2000 CH delivered them.Old Brockway gotta good workout this morning unloading them.
  20. Those K model IH's were a very good looking truck. My Grandpa's first truck of his own was a KB6.
  21. Truck is SOLD!!Thanks Joey.
  22. I like them both, but I still say a Superliner looks naked without a bunk.can't wait to get my Freedom Superliner back into shape.
