  1. I was lucky enough to score an original b&w press photo from the Morning Call of RW & MH Freedoms side by side.If I can figure out how to scan it,I'll put it in here.
  2. I'm guessing it's at the place that you post pics of from time to time, seller ID is Industrial Truck&Equipment.Black '87 Superliner someone has transplanted a 427 into.If you happen to be in the area and have 15 minutes to kill,I would appreciate it.
  3. Sharp B,you'll have to join us at some of our shows this year. The SE Iowa ATHS Chapter Ottumwa truck show is in June,I-80 Show at Walcott in July,Old Threshers in Mt.Pleasant.
  4. Sweet looking EF,that will definately be an attention getter with a restored trash body.I have a '47 EF,too. My sympathies you have to drive a Pete.
  5. when we going to get to see pics of the whole truck?
  6. I got some pics of the frame, unless he cuts the price in half and delivers it for free,I'm no longer interested. Thanks for the offer.
  7. There's a '87 Superliner on Ebay I was needing checked out if anybody's closeby.
  8. I think you can still get them thru Iowa 80.That's where I got my last pair, but they have really gotten high priced.
  9. Looks like it has been well taken care of.I was curious as to the status of this truck and emailed your company awhile back, the response I got was very short,it's obvious you have alot more respect for what you have than the person that answered my email.I'm sure the driver of this truck knows how lucky he is also.Just one thing, please loose the Peterbilt wheels.
  10. http://www.marketbook.ca/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=3792313&LP=TRK Anybody ever buy a truck in Canada to bring into US?I found this Superliner, looks clean, price sure is more than right for the year, only thing I'd have to do is pull the extra axle and swap out the goofy canadain spread rears, and it would be just about perfect.
  11. It's a damn nice truck,but I'd like it better at $20k.
  12. never could understand why someone would put a nice truck like that out for sale and not bother to paint the wheels. It does look decent,a 12 speed would be better.
  13. I'd bet that was an old Matlack truck from the specs.

  15. That truck truly belongs in Iowa hooked up to a hog trailer. And without the Peterbilt wheels.
  16. he had a B75,too,painted just like the B613 sleeper cab.Where did it go?
  17. I80 has several more Macks, heres some more from a previous visit. AB tractor&Fruehauf trailer Vintage sign FJ mixer BM tractor BX riggers truck B61 sleeper cab/with cast iron radiator B61 from Golden Age museum They have many, many more Macks also. They have a '55 LTL in the restore shop right now, several others waiting restoration and for parts.Tons of other makes too.
  18. That's the same truck. That's Bud Dawson of Walcott,IA with the truck. He worked for Iowa 80 after retirement from trucking and he was a mechanic at a Mack garage in Ohio.
  19. 2 picked over, gutted out wrecks,1 complete wreck that I'm pulling a E9 out of for another project,1 kinda rough one I''m pulling the motor out for my white '88 Superliner, and then this one.
  20. I'm probably going to give it a once over ,and try to sell it,that wasn't my original plans 5 months ago when I made the deal, but things have changed since then.I would work it but I don't know how I'd get along climbing in and out of a cabover all day anymore, and it ain't got enough ponies for my kid.
  21. That's happened a few times, not near often enough. I've had the deal on this one made for quite awhile, guy just delivered it last nite.
  22. No,this makes #5,but it is by far the best one I have.
