  5. not really, there were several L cab B models built, and quite a few have survived, you seem to see alot more L cab B 70 series trucks at shows the the B cab ones.
  6. I don't know what the kid in IN paid for it,but he sure took a hit on it.I figure I got the truck for the price of all the new glass he had cut for it.I never even twisted his arm,he just emailed me,said guess nobody else was interested and he had to move it,getting married or some poor excuse like that.
  7. if it runs as good as it looks,no frame issues, yeah,it's worth that.the thing you got going for you is the transport costs would be cheap.too bad it doesn't have the V8 still in it,I'd be all over it.
  8. Yes it did. That guy in Indiana that bought it gave up on it too and put it on Ebay.I was high bidder at around $350 but the reserve hadn't been met.I got a email 2 days later saying if I wanted it for that price it was mine.
  9. Looks good,Matt.I was wondering if you had ever gotten it home. Now find me one.
  10. You know where that A54 ended up don't you?
  11. if it's all behind the suspension,I wouldn't be afraid to weld it up.
  12. You guys have no idea how much grief PETA and like groups have caused us in the livestock hauling business. We no longer deliver animals to slaughterhouses, they are now "Harvest Facilities",animals aren't slaughtered, they are " Harvested"..Used to be if a hog broke a leg, shoulder, back etc.either loading,on the truck or in the alley,as long as it was still alive, they would scoop it up and take it to slaughter. Now the animal must be "humanely euthanized" and threw in the rendering pile.Because of this, enough meat is wasted in a year to feed New York.
  13. yep,it's a RS600 AKA Valueliner,looks like a nice tractor.
  14. When you "reply to topic" at the bottom RH corner, click on "more reply options".When you do this a new reply screen will pop up and at the bottom left you can see the "Attach Files".click on "choose file",pic your pic from your computer files and click "open",the file name should appear down in the LH corner next to "Attach this file",click that, then a thumbnail pic will appear at the bottom of the reply screen,to the right it will say "add to post",click that and your done. If I can figger it out, anybody can.
  15. I did the same as Brad.On the ones that are real close together I had to grind a little off so the would fit next to each other
  16. I've never had a truck re-railed so wouldn't even begin to know what the cost would be,but I will say this.If you like the truck and the rest is in good condition, then I wouldn't hesitate doing so,as you will have a truck that will work for you many years past the Granite you have.
  17. if I remember right,Dad's new '85 Superliner figured up around $55,000.It was spec'd nice,but nothing overly fancy E6-350,12 speed,4:17's,Camelback,212" wheelbase,Imron paint,Level 3 interior,dual stacks,polished tanks and Alcoa wheels.We put the sleeper on later.
  18. yep, hopefully they know what they have and won't crush it.
  19. Depending on whether it was a H69 or H693,either END673 or ENDT673,could have any trans.
  20. I've never seen a set on a truck,but I do have some aluminum valve covers for a 673/711.
