  4. The A51 is fairly rare today,I'd say it's a good buy.If you swap out the engine,I'd think you could peddle it to someone wanting one for parts,as they are hard to come by.
  5. I didn't wait till the last minute,I voted at noon, that gave me an excuse to take the wife out for lunch.
  6. think you're right, that loader musta been haulin' ass backwards
  7. yep, looks real nice.now you need to come get a set of budd front hubs from me and put some Alcoas up front.
  8. I'll bet it's your switch, the pull type switches would get sticky with age, sometimes you had to work them in and out a couples times and get it in just the right spot. That's why I'd get rid of them and put in a toggle switch
  9. should be inside the glovebox,a '63 should have breakers, unscrew the little panel to the right and the should be there
  10. L&L has a blue & white '90 Superliner on TP,but the hood looks all busted up.
  11. wonder how fast he was going when he hit that loader?
  12. thats what I thought. While I'm on a rant, anybody else having trouble saving pics from the TP ads??
  13. I talked quite awhile to the salesman,he said they are buying hot and heavy, anything Mack and non electronic priced 10k or less, which unfortunately is my price limit too. This one had good tires, fairly clean interior,12 speed, just needed a paint job.Way too good to send overseas.
  14. I've been looking for another Superliner for a spare work truck, nothing fancy, but something I could put a part time guy in to help haul grain, most of the time it would be my father-in-law or another older guy I know.I was especially needing one now that I'm out of commission for awhile.Yesterday afternoon late I noticed a new listing on Truck Paper for a '87 in IL,good specs, priced right, not too terrible far to go look at,called them to send pics as none were listed in the ad,called back after they arrived and was told it was being invoiced to deliver to Africa. Travis, old buddy,I'm sure regretting letting you get your hands on that Liberty, now.
  15. make sure the rubber is warm, and use lots and lots of patience, dish soap is good to use for lube.
  16. pm sent
  17. nice looking H67,that would have been awful hard for me to part with.
  18. Damn,I don't think I can remember every one I ever drove.
  19. a set of blanks sold for some big money on Ebay a few years ago, hard to get a used one for less than $15
  20. well,I sure hope you have better luck dealing with the law than I ever did with stuff I've had stolen and vandalized.Keep us posted.
  21. that' s not too bad without seeing pics,my opinion is that you could put about 10k in it pretty easy, but you'd have a pretty solid workhorse in the end.look at truck paper to see what R models are priced at,lots priced 12k or better.
  22. parting out,hood,rad,ATA,steering box,lh windshield sold,good doors,cab shell(interior trashed)frame,E7-400 engine,turns over,good core,have title.
  23. prefer to sell whole ,will consider parting,no engine, trans, hood or title.
