  1. here's some pics, there's aluminum tags riveted on the flat spot where the ratio is usually stamped,I'm guessing it's a rebuild tag.stamped 6:45 ratio.
  2. I called about this truck, left message, but never got a call back. It's now on truck paper in Holland,MI.
  3. I've got a set of heavy rears I got from a friend that was scrapping an old west coast Pete. They are out of LJ or LMSW I'm guessing. All complete, trunion, springs etc.not sure of ratio but I'll check for anyone interested.has budd wheels.
  4. no,I've had it quite awhile, just been slowly adding to the registry when I have time.
  5. no Vinny,I don't.Dad got a new Cruiseliner in '80,and that truck got moved to #3 spot with a hired driver.I drove it a few months after I got out of school in '85 until I got my '67 F model roadworthy. We kept it around for a spare for awhile then Grandpa took it to a Tayor&Martin auction in Peoria,ILL. Lost track of it after that. VIN was WL786LST38709 if anyone runs across it.

  10. Hope you catch the bastards that tore your truck up.I should have a extra horn button.
  11. 1st Mack I ever drove was Dad's'78 Cruiseliner,ENDT676,5 speed.June 13th,1979.
  12. I've seen mistakes on the VIN before, don't happen very often, but it does happen.I have a '58 B61T that has B61ST for the VIN.
  13. There's one on Ebay right now,but it's broke.
  14. Around here all the fire dept's are getting those little Peterbilts or Freightliners. Makes me sick.Morning Sun still has a MS300 Midliner,Mediapolis has a R492F, Yarmouth has a couple ex post office CH's converted to fire trucks, and last I knew,Ft.Madison has a CF.That's all the Mack fire trucks in a 50 mile radius of home.I can't understand why after so many years as a leader in the industry, they let the fire trucks go.Mack needs to get back in that market, and the medium duty market, too.
  15. Good thing I'm saving up for something else or I'd be mad.Just kidding, good score.Just one more thing for Travis to brag about............I met his better half at W.Springfield.
  16. Unless somethings been changed,a R611ST would have been built as a tractor,so most likely would have 34000 lb rears and a ENDT673C engine which by '79 I think they had rated @ 260 hp.I've always been a little gun shy of tractors made into dumps unless I know who did the conversion.
  17. the bottom hole is so the aircleaner can draw air from under the hood in bad weather. There is a little lever that closes the outside draw on the front side of your air cleaner.I had one B-61 that had a dash mounted cable control to open and shut the vent.
  18. Sorry ,guess I misread your post. These damn pain pills I'm taking kinda got me screwed up anyway.
  19. I don't think it sold,it just said bidding has ended,it shows 0 bids
  20. you'll like it a whole lot better if you skip 5th lo and come back into lo on the high side, takes a little getting used to,but once you get on to it,you'll see what I mean. Lo.1st,2nd,3rd,split to high,lo 1st 2nd 3rd,4th
  21. Have a few of these extra if anyone is interested.$20 includes shipping to anywhere in USA.
  22. Price is not bad, that's about the going rate I've seen them sell on Ebay. I'm not really good with the newer #'s but A EMC9-400 would be a California rated 400 hp,I'm pretty sure, and if it's dated 1981,I'd say your engine has been swapped out.
