  1. Yeah, but it was dent free when you hauled it to me,it got a little close to the boom truck when I unloaded it.
  2. Steve, Here's what I have.Let me know what you think.I'm sure the dent would pound out, just need a little bondo to smooth it up.There's a couple rust bubbles at the top seam but I don't think it's clear thru.
  3. I just bought an interior out of a RS Valueliner, tan button tucked.Haven't had a chance to unpack it to see what color the upper console is,

  12. I sure wish I could find a breakdown on the Hayward built trucks as I'm sure there were way more Detroit powered trucks.I remember several years ago on Ebay I was bidding on a FS781T,factory powered by a 6-71.They also offered the 6V53 in RL/RS400's.
  13. Yep,very very cool, but, with drive tires at $450 to 500 a piece only way I'd do too much of that is if Bandag was sponsoring me.
  14. Well,that mystery is solved.Thanks Al!!
  15. Vlad, the aluminum boxes shown in the above pics were available only on the Western models Macks,FL/FS,RL/RS,WL/WS.and RWL/RWS.They are larger than the more common "X" marked east coast built Mack battery boxes and were all aluminum, box and lid. The boxes with the X were/are steel bottoms, with optional painted steel, chrome steel or aluminum lids.Stainless and aluminum lids are also available for these boxes aftermarket. The Canadian built Macks had the same battery boxes but instead of the "X" on the front of the box, there was 3 horizontal lines.
  16. Hey Vinny, lose the 10:00x20 front tires and get a set of 22.5's.You'll thank me for it later.

  19. The local phone company has a factory single axle RS600 with a E6-350 and 13 speed, came out of CA,sweet little truck, can't wait till they decide to get rid of it.They put a ball hitch on it and pull a big gooseneck flatbed.
  20. Looks like good place for my next family vacation.
  21. I've got one of those,but it's dented.If you can't find anything better,let me know and I'll send you a pic or 2.
  22. I was wondering if you caught that,Vinny.Chrome ones,even.
  23. The leaf is separate from the half dog,I sent a tracing of this one to Vinny and he made a pair out of aluminum, not hard to do.
  24. 30+ years of auctions, flea markets, swap meets, junk yards and Ebay.I hope to someday have either a trailer or a small building where I could display this stuff.I haven't even started on the literature, manuals, toys, promos and other Mack memorobilia I've got tucked away. I'm questioning the Mack with the big V emblem as being Mack truck related or not.Possibly bus related.
  25. That makes sense.I've seen the E model emblems on the back crossmember, but this one was new to me.
