  1. The 5 day Old Threshers show starts tomorrow in Mt.Pleasant,IA.Took a load over tonite for the show. They like to have the trucks at least 50 years old and pretty much stock appearing.Mikey drove the G73 over, and I took the '46 Brockway 88 and my '41 Farmall A.Wanted to take the Mack EF but I'm converting it to 12 volt and all the parts didn't get here in time. Here's some pics from the unloading dock,I'll post more from the showgrounds later.
  2. That was a beautiful truck, only saw it in person one time at Macungie in 1989,but it was love at first sight. As I recall,he also had a B42 there also, bone stock and spotless.
  3. I don't know what's wrong with it,but they have been trying to sell that truck for a long time,it was first listed around 12K or so and has been steadily geting cheaper.I'd buy it in a heartbeat if the blonde went with it.
  4. you going to put the padded door panels on or just leave them bare metal?
  5. by '86 the deep reduction splitter would be on the shift knob,OEM would have the blue colored splitter, where a 13 speed was red.
  6. Wiper motor under the dash would be pre-59,but that serial number you gave would be in the '64 range.musta been like some of mine, put together from several trucks.
  7. I didn't see anything cobbled on the turbo, but that air cleaner set up leaves alot to be desired.

  11. looks like a good one, you'll get alot of good use out of it.What trans is in it?
  12. anybody in here taking this home??I sent in a absentee bid of $700 and didn't get it.Sold for $750.
  13. Looks like a LT with a B73 radiator, modified hood and Peterbilt fenders.
  14. if the door tag is correct, not only is it a factory single axle,it's Cat powered.
  15. Sure got it shined up nice, but you're missing a couple lug nut caps,Dan.Mikey said to tell you it's too damn short and needs another stack.
  16. Al's right, the 300+ was copper colored until 1980, then they painted everything that shitty orange color for a short while, then everything was light blue, then finally gray
  17. Who is the auctioneer?do they have a website or online listing?
  18. it has budd wheels, probably a ford rear end I'd guess. If the rear was original it would have the spokes wheels just like the steer axle, with the chrome Mack hub caps in the center.
  19. looks like it's had a rear end change.Sheet metal looks good. There's a guy out your way name of Ed Pruss thats got a really nice hood, grille, and both side panels off a EGU,but it would be same as what you have.He bought it from me to hang on his wall, don't know if he'd part with it or not.
  20. A CF719???That's gotta be a rare one. When do we get to see it??
  21. Only ones I've ever seen are Mack and White.
  22. Been working on this too,not a Mack but the next best thing.Just got thru paying it off so I can buy stuff for it now.'93 W350 dually 4x4,Cummins power with a 5 speed.Only 103k one owner miles, but most of them were pulling a livestock trailer.
  23. That's kind of a sore subject.Mikey dropped it off at a glass place to get a new one cut,guy said it would be done following week.Called and said he'd been really backed up,give him another week.Long story, short,he ended up losing it he says, probably got threw away by accident,so now I gotta tear another door apart for a pattern window and the metal piece it sits in.
