  1. Watt's Mack has/had new ones.If your not fussy I have some extra used ones, but the chrome ain't the best.
  2. I did.Soon as I get my pics done I'll start posting some.I counted 4 MH's total,1 true Magnum,1 Magnum clone,the blue/silver single axle,and West's red one that was parked in the hauler lot.
  3. Jim took the window out because it was broke pretty bad and didn't want anybody getting cut.Believe it or not,the seat never got wet.you shoulda stuck around,it didn't turn out too bad late afternoon.Lotta guys left early Sat.,unfortunately.But that did make room for some to move out of the mud to better spots.I sure wish the show coulda lasted another week, even though my back and legs were pretty well shot by Sat. nite,it sure was great therapy for me to be there. Can't say much for the plane ride, though.
  4. Just got back.Had a great time, but as usual, time was way too short.Did get in some quality visiting, had camera trouble so didn't get to take near as many pics, got to meet a few guys to put faces to names.Sorry I missed you Matt.I'm going to go get the the disposables deleveloped now since my digital camera only lasted 4 pics, but here's 2 of them. This was my show entry, details to follow later.
  5. C and H Truck Parts in Sioux City,IA has this nice looking old reefer, still has the ladders up to the ice bunker doors, just missing the "putt putt" motor to run the fan
  6. Wish I could remember who Jack bought it from, all I can remember is he was from Dixon,IL.
  7. That F was on Ebay a few years back,originally a F719 twin turbo truck,converted to a 8V71.
  8. You are probably looking at a later LJSWX with the exposed radiator, those do look similiar. The LT had a longer hood, set forward axle, and was built for west coast operations.A standard LJ had a much shorter hood, front axle was slightly set back, and it had a sheet metal radiator shell.
  9. I wonder if the G model is the same one Harry M. had also.Several years ago he bought a very clean, low mile barn find G73 from a guy I know in Byron,IL.It was green, all original,NH220,Triplex.Supposedly Harry had a NOS G cab he was going to put on it,but that would have been a terrible waste,as it was as close to mint as you can get to begin with.Be interesting,at least to me,to know the history. Al,do you remember the one I'm talking about???
  10. Well,that's definately a record price.What I still don't understand is how those couldn't be repopped at a reasonable price,with todays "technology"
  11. Yes,the inlet/outlet hoses are on opposite sides,Mack on left,Cummins on right.I have a E6 radiator, that we may have to make work if I can't find the right one.I was just wanting to do it right instead of cobbling since I plan on keeping this truck on the road for a long, long, long time.
  12. I know this is a long shot, but here's what I need.Hi flow radiator for a Cummins powered RW or MH would also work.I have a Big Cam 4 lo flow now and I'm converting it to hi flow.Need ASAP.I was putting this process off until I gathered all needed parts, but the bottom tank of my radiator blew out yesterday and I'm stuck driving a 2010 Pinnacle until I get mine back together,so you can understand my urgency.
  13. That's a RL,it has an aluminum frame. It does look to be in good shape.
  14. That's a good video, never seen it before.Lots of familiar faces and trucks. That first AC is now restored and resides in Iowa 80's office.Lots of footage shot at Walcott,IA.
  15. Wow,good thing truth in advertising laws doesn't apply to truck paper ads or this guy would be in the pokey for sure.300 hp 237 engine???,18,000 lb front axle and 38,000lb.rear end?????Yep,sure.
  16. You gotta be pretty close,Al.My '76 R model had dogs on the doors and my buddy's '78 didn't.
  17. Al,try contacting ebay seller dollsrme4u.I'm 90% certain he's the one that had some listed on ebay awhile back.
  18. Just confirmed my reservations today.Flying out Thurs. 5-31.Who else is going to be there?
  19. I'd like it alot better if it had about 8 more feet in the frame and a sleeper.
  20. did any notice the VIN listed for the truck?1976 would be about right ,only problem is this truck isn't a RS685LST.
  21. A few years ago, there was a AC powered Western F on Ebay.I've also heard, but can't confirm with facts, the Allis Chalmers had some AC powered Mack Western F's in their corperate fleet.
