  1. My L cab B73 came from Havre,MT.
  2. Are those JD bicycles worth anything?
  3. The 5th wheel I understand. You see that on single axles equipped with a Jifflok add on tag axle. You slid the tractor 5th wheel forward out of the way and used the 5th wheel on the Jifflok.,they were designed to double as a converter dolly for doubles, also.
  4. Look again,Larry,it is a concave cab.
  5. That little U is sweet, and priced right so far, too.
  6. you can use one from a B61,just drill screw holes and put spacers behind so the screw doesn't pull the emblem in to far.The factory one are really tough to find.
  7. When you going to show us some pics of these 2,Ron???
  8. Can you email me some pics of the R700?macksrus@mepotelco.net
  9. My Jake on my Superliner will kill the engine if I forget and leave it on and take my foot off the accelerator too long while downshifting.I had a "Stealth" Jake brake on a '97 CH that you might as well drug your foot out the door.
  10. Do you want plastic or original glass?I have both.
  11. Probably hauling coconuts in Africa or coffee beans in Brazil I'd guess.Been a long time ago.Had a 711 and a Triplex.
  12. It was either $3650 or $3850,can't remember for sure,I've got it wrote down.
  13. yes,of that particular model,U609
  14. It would look alot better with different wheels.
  15. New take off CHU613 stainless clad bumper,I bought this for my son's Rawhide, but he didn't like the big opening with the screen in the middle, factory bumper by Hendrickson, with brackets,$850/obo.Check what a new one lists for.Supposed to fit '06 and newer.
  16. Right after my first B model burnt,I answered an ad for a 1964 Mack, owner said it was green and had 2 shifters.Went to look and it was a U model.U609ST1007 or 17 if I remember right, been 27 years ago.Hindsight being 20/20,I should have bought it,as it was good shape, but that's another story.
  17. 1993 CH613,E7400 mechanical,T2130 trans,Mack rears on air ride.42"sleeper,Holland air slide 5th wheel.Ten 11R24.5 aluminum wheels, Hub pilot frt wheels, stud rear, one alum.fuel tank, one steel. This truck was in the 2008 flood,it was drained afterward, but nothing else done, interior is trashed, but cab shell, doors(fiberglass),and hood are good.motor turns over.I was going to part it out but figured I'd offer it up whole first.More pics available for SERIOUS BUYERS.Good clean title, lots of good parts here,or strip it and have a good air ride chassis for a project.$5250 as is or $4000 without aluminum wheels.
  18. Transport Trailers were made in Cedar Rapids,IA and went out of business in the '70's.I'd guess the only place you'd get parts is a parts house, you might try searching Midwest Wheel or Mutal Wheel Co. on the internet, they are a couple big ones here in the midwest.
  19. Yes,you still got first dibs.I would like to get ahold of that DM,got a steel front that's just begging for a truck to put it on.
  20. I knew that would get your attention,I shouldn't tease you like that.
  21. I'd buy it if I could get my '65 U model sold.
  22. That might be a 1977 engine, but the trucks older.looks like an old Manatt's truck, big constuction outfit based in Brooklyn,IA.
  23. If it is a Pete chassis with a LT cab & hood, which is what I'm betting, the answer is quite obvious as to why they did it.The guy was stuck with a Pete, but still wanted to maintain a little dignity,so he made it into a Mack, most untrained eyes woudn't know. If in fact it is a full blooded LT,the guy obviously wanted to keep his truck on the road, but LT parts aren't readily available, while any junkyard or city dump is overflowing with Pete parts.
