  1. Tom Gannaway had some repro'd a few years back. You can contact him thru the B model Registry.
  2. I've seen the aluminum hoods on some B-613LST's.I have one with one on it,plus 2 extra aluminum B-61 hoods.
  3. Is that a Bosch pump?It looks different than the rotary pumps on my B-53's
  4. Lets all keep our fingers crossed, maybe by next year Mack will take over the reins from Volvo and flush them down the toilet where they belong.
  5. Real tough looking pair. Can you imagine how scared a pair of T660 KW's would be if they ran into those two in a dark alley.
  6. Been trying to find a pic of my buddy's '68 U685T to post for you.Not the best pic(they had a little trouble unloading at Hutchinson)but this is one super sweet little U.
  7. I'm pretty sure I have an extra one,if you are talking about ones for the Western trucks.
  8. That sunvisor on the LJ don't look that bad, needs to be tilted up just a pinch.Looks like it might have been an old Fulton visor that's been trimmed.
  9. does it leak with the park brake applied?

    Ugly?

I do miss it once in awhile.Never met a car that I liked unless it was smashed flat on my trailer.I had an ALJON crusher and sent several thousand 4 wheelers to the shredder.Did pretty good until price dropped from $85/ton to the high 20's and took forever to come back.Kinda glad I sold it when I did.Now that prices are sky high,it's pretty hard to buy high quantites of cars, epsecially at a price you can make decent profit, plus alot more EPA BS to deal with now.
  11. A chrome steel one for a F model just brought over $400 on ebay. Are they getting hard to find now?

    Ugly?

This is the way I enjoy all cars.
  13. Alot of the older R's had aircleaners with the extra warm air tube, but they still only had one element, most in fact were oil bath. The tip turbine air cleaners had 2 separate filter elements in the canister.
  14. All Mack engines with the tip turbine and side mount aftercooler(ENDT676,300+,or the early 350's) had the two element air cleaner with twin tubes, with the exception of the very early ones that used the hood scoop.
  15. I hope land doesn't cost as much down there as it does here.80 acres just sold west of town for $8900/acre.I could knock my house&barn down and sell my place for farm ground and get more today than I paid for it 22 years ago
  16. I didn't know DJ's Dad was gone, but it's been a long time since I've talked to DJ.At one time he said he had over 200 B models.
  17. I used to have a 950 Cat when I was crushing cars,it was damned handy when it worked, but was by far the biggest POS I've ever owned.seldom had brakes, steering set up was a nightmare, nothing easy to work on,parts high as hell.Traded it for a '67 Brockway COE with a 600 Holmes twin boom wrecker.
  18. Here's the flyer for the show. Brockway Poster.pdf
  19. August 10 & 11 is the dates for this years showw, which is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Brockway trucks.
  20. Looks like a nice, straight tractor. How many miles on it?
  21. That's the bad part, with the original 13 speed double over Triplex,it would have had decent road speed.I don't know what the OD ratio is on those old 915's but I bet it ain't near as fast now.
  22. About forgot,he used to get the 3-2 code frequently,it ended up being a bad wire connector,so I'd check that first before you change sensors.
