  1. I saw both those trucks in Auburn,IN at the ATHS convention. The show was held at Kruse Bros. auction complex and as I remember, they weren't entered in the show, but were either awaiting pickup or waiting to be run thru the next auction. They looked pretty good, but you could tell they had alot of bondo in them, especially the '57.
  2. I have a T2090 in my '87 Superliner,4:17 rears,lo pro 24.5's which would be the same as 11R22.5 ,never had any problems pulling loads out of farm fields or muddy lots.Gives you nice road speed too.A T2090 has a .71 overdrive,where a T2100 is .77 and a TRTXL1070a 12 speed is .78
  3. yep, those fit B-20 and 30,and the smaller A's and E's.They weren't made for Budd wheels, but they will work for a front aluminum wheel(can't get enough bite to work on steel wheels),but I was always afraid of losing one or getting them stolen.
  4. He probably parked next to you because he figured anybody with that good of taste in trucks wouldn't tear his hood off leaving the parking lot.
  5. how much weight are you carrying on the front now?Might be an overloading issue.Could also be something wrong with the hub, have you had it checked?
  6. Here are pics of the B61 that Chris had posted about on the Guest forum.
  7. Early this winter we had a ATHS chapter meeting in Des Moines. One of our members drove his recently aquired Oshkosh COE 6x6 ex-missle transporter tractor. This thing was huge,KTA600 Cummins,auto.trans,100 ton double oscillating 5th wheel.About a week later someone stole it right out of his trucking co. yard.Luckily he had survailence cameras and got a rough video of them loading on a lowboy pulled by a 362 Pete.It took about a month, but after alot of investigating on his part(the police were of almost no help, even when he found the truck)he got it back. The top had been cut out of the cab, pretty much ruining it,but it was recovered.
  8. C607 - 301 C609 - 1064 C611 - 16 C615 - 208 total production from '63 to'65 - 1589
  9. I'd at least drop the pan and look things over good underneath.Otherwise those old 673's are pretty bulletproof.
  10. No,the clutch on my '65 with the pusher axle works fine, the other 2 don't run.
  11. Where you paying to have it stored there? If you were and weren't behind on payments,I'd say someone should get there ass sued.Your ex boss needs an ass kicking too. Hope you find it.
  12. Saw a couple other H models down your way on Craigslist, one for sure was a H-67 and if the pics weren't decieving me,the other was a rare H-69.I'll try to get somebody to help me post a link.
  13. I bit my tongue awhile back after reading a post and thought it best to keep quiet, but I see it here again in slightly different form,so I'm going to shoot my mouth off.I really don't think this is the place to even hint at that sort of thing.I'm pretty open minded when it comes to most things, but that's one subject I have no tolerance for. This is a forum for Mack truck owners, drivers, employees and fans and those substances have absolutely no reason to be even slightly referenced, joking or otherwise. My 2 cents.
  14. I will vouch for that.
  15. I also have the Bulldog magazine with a full article on the Freedom Edition,4th quarter '86.
  16. Sad but true.
  17. There's a '96 E9 CL713 day cab on EBay right now.
  18. Looks really sharp, but I still say Superliners look naked without a sleeper.
  19. They are really hard to find, but wouldn't be too hard to reproduce if you know someone good with metal cutting. They are made out of aluminum sheet.I have a set I would be glad to trace a pattern from for you.Do you have the Canadian battery box lids for your truck, too?
  20. Don't junk it out, those early F's are too hard to come by.Rear ends are cheap.
  21. I have a C-609 the was originally a Dohrn tractor.
  22. looks like a hi lift 5th wheel for lifting trailers to uunload them.
  23. One piece of advice ,take it for what it's worth.Don't accept any bids from Zero Feedback bidders. Most are scammers ,they'll run they bid up and you won't ever hear from them at the end of the auction,or they'll try to pull a payment scam.
  24. is that the Western express that swallowed up Smithway Motor Xpress from Ft.Dodge,IA?
