  1. Ain't computer smart enough to post links, but there are some interseting trucks on Ebay, maybe some else can look them up and post the links. There's a 1922 AC with a tag axle. a "rare" 1974 Valueliner a real nice 1976 RS797 dump truck and a 1967 F607T day cab
  2. If it's got the axle mounted steering gear,it would be an '85 or older,as '85 was the transition year between the Superliner I and 2.If you like the truck,$10k wouldn't be that out of line, because you're basically paying for the rebuilt engine and getting the truck for free, but if you're like me,I'd sure try to bargain a little. My son gave $5500 for a really nice E9 powered '89 last year, that had engine trouble. After finding out what it was going to cost to rebuild it,we put it on hold.Waiting paid off cause I just got him a wrecked MH with a good E9 for pretty cheap,so we should be able to finish his truck for under $12K total investment.
  3. They look same as a EH,the exception seems to be some of the later diesel versions had more of a B model style radiator shell,my '49 EQ pictured here has this style. My '48 gas powered EQ has the EH style grille. The EQ's were built from '37 to '50 I think.
  4. The Brockway site is a good one for info on them,Brockway has a very strong ,decicated following, just like Mack only not as large.
  5. #1 I can't believe someone is this tacky to do this to a Superliner,#2,I can't believe a dealer would actually advertise it looking like this. Some people shouldn't be allowed to own trucks.
  6. Be thankful they didn't cut the cables for copper and steal your radiator.
  7. Got a little work done on my new EF tonite.Dug thru the closet this weekend and managed to find a full set of decent hubcaps. They cleaned up pretty good, only had to repaint the lettering on 2 of them. Also found a box with 2 new mudflaps from Watt's,so I decided this would be a good place for them.Had to take the carb off as it started leaking bad, hopefully get it back together for the next local show this weekend.
  8. If the VIN he lists is correct,it was a glider kit.
  9. Is this the one you got?looked to me to have alot of potential for the price.
  10. Got ahold of Cal this afternnon and got an emblem ordered. Thanks again for the tip.Cal has had these grille badges reproduced as stainless blanks and then letters them with vinyl. He can do one for any of the E,A,&L models, and also firetrucks.
  11. Glad to here it,now you can send that Red Oval truck down the road.Did you find this truck on Craigslist by any chance, sounds similar to one I saw a week or so back.
  12. Thanks for the lead.I've got Cal's card somewhere,he got a steering wheel from me several years ago.
  13. Congratulations need to go out to Larry Pruitt,AKA FIREMAN,for kicking butt at the Walcott show this year.He took home 3 or 4 trophies for his 2007 Rawhide.
  14. Get well soon,Ernie. Here's another Brockway pic for you.1946 model 88 I bought yesterday.
  15. ShewryMack.bmp I picked up this 1947 EF at an auction yesterday. The EF emblem is missing from the grille.Anyone out there have a spare??
  16. Just my opinion but that truck is way too decent to be cannabalized for parts. What will happen is you might sell a couple things, then you'll have an incomplete truck that you'll end up getting tired of looking at it it will end up as scrap.I've seen this happen way too many times.Keep it whole, please, even if all you do is look at it.The price of iron has sent way too many to china already. There's way more than enough loose parts around without taking apart a decent truck like yours.
  17. Easy-Off oven cleaner works good to take old lettering off.
  18. Several years ago there was a Mack Truck owners club,Marv Comer from Baltimore headed it up.I don't know what ever happened to it,I think I only got one or two newsletters, then nothing.
  19. Gold Bulldog and Farr air cleaner,I'd guess 325 V8 Maxidyne.
  20. Are you wanting the one that shows split readings, one for a END673 and one for the ENDT673??
  21.
