  1. What part of Iowa are you in?
  2. Must have had a bellhousing change sometime in it's life. That would be a bear to change starters.
  3. That F795 is sweet.Is it yours?
  4. If I remember right, the standard spec for a 300+ powered truck was a RT1110 trans, with 3:65 rears with 20 inch rubber or 3:87 rears with 22 inch rubber. This would give you around 68 mph at gov.speed.With your RTO12513,you should be able to get close to 80 mph.
  5. Believe it or not, that camper was a factory option for the Diamond Reo Trend. It was made to be removable and a regular truck bed could be fitted for hauling.
  6. I've never seen a F model with a starter button unless it had a Cummins in it.Should start with just the key.The fuel shut off should be down by the shift lever.
  7. Which pieces do you need, the top fiberglass part or the aluminum side extenders/fairings??
  8. The gold Bulldogs first appeared in 1966 and were put on all Maxidyne powered trucks. The bases were even gold on the real early ones. The Maxidyne engines were all painted gold until '79 or '80,some EPA issue with the paint being used. They used a crappy orange for a short while, then went to light blue. The gold Bulldog continued until '81,then went back to chrome dogs on everything, this was about same time they bobbed the ears and tail. The gold Bulldog returned on the Elite series CH and CL,then about '95 or '96,returned to the hood of all Mack drivetrain trucks.
  9. The"something"with the air line coming out of it would be the puff limiter, you can block it off and blow black smoke.I'd guess the electric terminal is for the Dynatard.
  10. Got this 1960 H-67 from my friend Howard after he got thru picking a few pieces off for his '59.
  11. Had a visitor last Friday evening, old boy was looking for some Dodge pickup parts, said he had an old Mack cabover he needed gone, wondered if I was interested in doing some trading.Went to look at it Sunday. This old FS has been sitting close to 30 years, wheel bearing went out on front drive axle, owner pulled the axle housing out to repair damage to spindle and it never got put back together.Going to be interesting getting out,but sure couldn't pass on the price. It's got some rust, but it's far from terminal, roof, fenders and doors are aluminum. I don't suppose anybody has the bottom piece for this grille?
  12. Keep an eye on Ebay, they turn up there once in awhile, one just ended about a week ago.
  13. Yep, That's my truck. That pic was before the frame was replaced/stretched prior to me buying it.
  14. That pic is from Walcott this year.I took some pics this weekend but having trouble downloading pics from my camera. That R model belongs to Larry Pruitt,FIREMAN in here. It's a pretty sweet old R model.
  15. Been helping a friend with this H model for last couple years, supplying parts and advice.Yesterday he brought it down and let me drive it in a couple local parades.I put about 100 miles on it,fell in love with it after about 10 feet.More belly room in one of these compared to my B models.First chance I've had to drive a H67 under it's own power since neither of mine run.
  16. You starting your own fire dept.?
  17. A set of triples loaded with cut up Peterbilts???

  19. This RWS797 was the star of the 1979 movie "Flatbed Annie & Sweetie Pie".Co-stars were Annie Potts and Kim Darby.Kinda cheesy movie, but I've seen worse. There's a shot in the movie with the hood up.Pretty cool old truck, like to know what ever happened to it. Where did you get a breakdown sheet on the build numbers????????
  20. I don't know the name or if this applied to the early years or not,but during the '70's &'80's,Mack shipped the trucks to the importer/dealer "CKD" Completely Knocked Down, and were assembled upon arrival.
  21. Here's a pic of the Superliner my son just bought. He's got it parked at a friend's house right now tearing the motor down, have to get some better pics when they get it put back together and back home.
  22. the 809 would have had a END711 Thermodyne,the 885 would have a ENDT675(237)Maxidyne,and the 886 would have the ENDT676 (300) Maxidyne.
  23. I called about it too,the guy said he wished he had a dozen of them on his lot as many calls as it got.
