  1. You can put a 335 in a B73.I have a '65 B73 that has had a 335 transplanted into it.
  2. B733 had the 262 Cummins, the extra 3 indicates a turbocharged engine B77 had the NHRS Supercharged Cummins B773 had the 335 Cummins
  3. That is a fine looking H60.Would love to see some more pics.A friend of mine in Wisconsin has an unrestored H60 that still has the original gas engine,it is in very nice original condition. From what I have been told, alot of the H60's were repowered by diesels before they were sold new.
  4. It all depends on the state you live and their laws.
  5. The logo is a Rawhide logo.Fits right in with us being livestock haulers. It has the 485 MP8,18 speed,& 3:58 rears.
  6. Yes,and the car driver survived too,somehow.
  7. I stopped in to look it over tonite after he got home, the truck is very sharp, but I can't figure out why they put the cheapy 1/4 fenders on it.They will be coming off. He was pretty PO'd with the salesman at Springfield. It had been sitting on the lot quite awhile and needed shined up,so he asked if they could detail and polish the aluminum up a little."Sorry,we don't have anyone to do that".Quite obvious they have the Volvo attitude. Still, even a little dirty,it's a beautiful truck.
  8. He got hit by a car one month ago today. The woman driving came around a blind curve in the wrong lane,Dad took the shoulder but she still hit him nearly square head on.Truck went thru ditch and smacked a culvert.Knocked front axle out, broke motor mounts and bellhousing, radiator,ATAAC,hood, bent frame.
  9. After 3 weeks of truck shopping following the untimely demise of his '09 CXU613,Dad came home with this today. Can't wait to see it hooked to his hog trailer.
  10. The early ones are a PITA to remove.Whichever method you choose to remove,it's definately worth your while to go to the newer syle mounting when you reassemble.I have reused the older headlight panels and simply added the brackets that hold them to the radiator support.
  11. I never have paid munch attention to engine serial #'s,but I'd bet money that's not a 237,but a 250.
  12. It's pretty easy. When I built my first B-61,the budd hubs I used came off an ex- Garrett Freight MB611ST.The wheel studs just had a nut and lock washer on the back side, take off nut,tap old stud out,tap new one in and tighten.
  13. This one was on Ebay awhile back.I believe it's a WS721.
  14. If you stop and look at it,get the serial # too.
  15. If it was originally built as a "bogie drive",it should be a R611RST.
  16. A R611RT would have had the ENDT673C,single drive axle, right hand steer. That's a fairly low number,'68 or '69 I'd guess. If I remember right the ten speed you're refering to is the TRDL107.
  17. On the subject of Magnums, does anyone still have any of the Mack Magnum branded Goodyear tires??
  18. Can you do the same thing with the Freedom edition trucks?Mine is RW613-002625.
  19. Check out Ebay # 260584599868.Currently at $39.99 .
  20. The early CAT V8's were called the 1676,and most were replaced with 6 cylinder's thru warranty because they weren't very good.A friend of mine had one in a narrow nose KW he bought out of a junkyard. It didn't have twin turbo's though.
  21. Watch Ebay, they turn up there fairly often. There was a guy that was making repro's,Phil Baumgarten,he passed away but I think one of his kids took over.I bought one of his repro's someone had put on Ebay, very good quality.I paid $29.99 for it.I didn't give much more than that for the original one I have either.
  22. that truck would have the EN414(Chrysler 413 V8).They made 325 MB410's from '63 to '70.Yours would be the 133rd built.
  23. Saw one in a Cruiseliner, think it was a '79.It had a condensor type grille, not the stamped aluminum grille used on Cruiseliners at that time.
  24. I've got a '48 Mack L type 21 with a Hall Scott,been looking 3 years for a carb for it to no avail.
