  1. Mack sold Hayes around '75 so that engine would have had to be a re-fit.
  2. There was a E6-250,basically a modernized ENDT673C,the used the "11" code for this engine too.
  3. Don't look bad from the pic, post some more when you get a chance.2 12v batteries should start it.
  4. Doug, Is that day cab G the same one that was on Ebay a few years ago?I think it was in kansas maybe?
  5. That is a good looking G.Don't look like it needs much work. Sure seems like there's been alot of G models coming out of the woodwork lately.
  6. I've seen that ad on TruckPaper,it's a typo.There were the R,RD,RM,RB,RL,and RS,that's it,unless you count the RW Superliner
  7. I'd guess you are right.Quads all have the extra #,TRQ7220,etc.
  8. The last Superliner's with the axle mounted steering gear were built in '84,the Superliner II came out in late '84 titled as '85's.
  9. Wasn't that truck advertised for sale on this site quite awhile ago?
  10. Your truck is really looking great.I like the color.
  11. When I got my first CH with air ride, the shop foreman at our dealer told me it was a good idea to rattle the u bolts with an impact at every oil change as they had a tendency to work loose.
  12. The B42 and B61 share the same cab & sheet metal. As far as the CDL part goes,it depends on were you live and how you use the truck, some states don't require a CDL for registered antique trucks.
  13. The Cruiseliner frame is the same frame used in the first generation Superliners.Without knowing the condtion of the suspension bushings and air bags(Neway stuff is kinda pricey),9 speed Fullers ain't worth much.I'd hate to offer much more than scrap price, roughly 6 ton, less the weight of the tires,$800 or so.If it has good usable tires and wheels, that would make a difference too. What happened to the cab?
  14. Just these 2 Brockway 400's,they are pretty much gutted out.
  15. is it the 707 engine?
  16. Sorry about all the posts,it's too muddy outside to do anything constructive and I worked myself out of a job till next week.1948 LJT,180 Cummins with Duplex,1953 W-71T,200 Cummins,5 speed with manual shift 2 speed rear.1958 H67T,repowerd by IH RD450 gas,5 speed and 2 speed rear from a wrecked R190(don't ask me why).1960 G73LST,220 Cummins,15 speed Tri-plex,Mack rears on Page&Page.1979 MC492P,had a 3208 Cat in it,nothing now.1979 WS786LST,ENDT676,5 speed.Paid $500 for it and drove it home. That's it for now.
  17. I owned this one for awhile, traded it to a friend and got it back on trade this summer.1967 R615LST,END864 V8,15 speed,240k actual miles,it has a Tulsa winch and tail roller and will run 80+mph.The yellow and black one I got from the same friend, its a '73 R685ST,237,5 speed. It has the deluxe green interior and it's unbelievably good shape inside. It also has budd wheels front and back.
  18. A few of my F models.1963 F609ST,repowered by a ENDT673C with a 13 speed Tri-plex,1967 F715LST,ENDT864 V8 with 15 speed Tri-plex,1969 F785ST,237 with 5 speed,1972 F795LST,325 V8 with 5 speed,and 1976 F786ST,no engine or trans.
  19. Not Macks, but part of Mack history. My 1967 Brockway 457 with 600 Holmes,6-71 Detroit powered & 1974 Brockway 358,230 Cummins with a 15 speed. It used to have a large vacuum tank on it,still has the big Gardner-Denver pump mounted behind the cab.
  20. I think that is great, and I wish more of that went on,but I just wonder how he gets around the gov't BS on emissions.
  21. I was out wading thru the mud & snow Sunday, and took of few pics in the backyard. These are my 3 C609T's.All have 711 engines, the single axle '65 has a Uni-shift,the red one is a single axle with tag and has a Tri-plex,the other '65 is a single axle with pusher on Page&Page suspension with a Duplex. So far,it's the only one I've got running.
  22. Just traded for this '69 RL739LST.It has a 270 Cummins,6 speed Spicer, and Mack rears on inverted Camelback suspension.Best part of the deal was it didn't cost any cash and I got rid of 2 off breeds from the back row.
  23. Two generations of my Dad's old trucks are now together in my working fleet.Since buying the '01 CX last month, the '85 Superliner is semi-retired.A friend of my son drives whenever I'm hauling livestock and we need a fill in on the grain hauling.
  24. Are they titled as new trucks?
