  1. I'm guessing you are talking abiut the Able Body Co. "Penthouse" sleeper. These were raised roof sleepers that had windows in the front. They were available from about the mid '80's to 93 when Superliner production ended.Ford also used this sleeper on the LTL9000.
  2. If you look in some older posts, there should be some listed. It would take a long time to post them all as there were a bunch of different engines available thru the years.I'll post a few for you. 3. my '53 B-20 has one aluminum headlight panel. It's the standard sheet metal panel found on most B's,not the heavy cast one like on the 70 series B's.The other was missing when I got the truck.Only one I've ever seen,or heard of.

  7. If it helps any,I paid $5000 for my green '85 Superliner just about 2 years ago.350,15 speed,10 aluminum budds, all good 24.5 radial rubber,90% caps on rear, goodyears on the steer,36 " Able sleeper.
  8. The old 5 speeds are direct.
  9. here you go,Andy These 3 are "parts" trucks so I don't what years they are,no titles. A50T1637 A50T3899 A50T4851 I have 4 A54T's but 2 of them are missing the door tag and the numbers stamped on the frames(stamping the numbers at the back of frame was not one of Mack's better ideas)One of them used to belong to Tim McCormack, maybe he remembers the VIN#. 1952 A54T1586 1952 A54T???? 1953 A54T1909 1953 A54T????
  10. I haven't priced any mirrors at the dealer for quite awhile, but I will say I've bought several items from Chuck on Ebay and he is very good to deal with.
  11. I would guess the B61 is roughly a '63 and the B42 is a '64.Check the B model Registry at oldmacksrus.com and you can register yours.
  12. I'll get my numbers rounded up this weekend for you.I've got 4 A-54 tractors and 2 or 3 A-50's.
  13. R6 - Model R, 600 series 88 - 350 Mack engine ST - twin screw tractor
  14. It should have had the one like pictured in the interior pic,hi/lo selector on the stick and dir/hi slpitter on the knob.Personally I always liked this style better than the 3 splits on the knob.
  15. You should be about 300 lbs. lighter if you swap all 8.You better plan on getting longer studs.
  16. which style of S/P switch do you have? The end cap over the plunger is threaded and simply unscrews.
  17. Unscrew the end cap on the S/P switch and hold the plunger in.If it starts this way,you may only have to clean up the contacts inside it.
  18. It must have been built to pull one hell of a weird trailer. The dollies would have to be mounted damn near in the middle.
  19. A R763S would have a 335 Cummins and left the factory as a six wheel (tandem) straight truck chassis.
  20. Had a neat find myself tonite. My wife picked up some parts today that a friend bought for me at the Dean Willis auction in Nebraska about a month ago. There was a NOS right side hood panel for a LT.
  21. For some reason I can't get a pic to post in the message section, but if you look in my"Garage" pics,my '58 B-61 boom truck has an air starter and you can see the tank. It's frame mounted behind the left fuel tank and is roughly the size of a 50 gal. fuel tank.
  22. Only thing that car will get you is trouble, buy the Mack.Besides, there's tons of those cars around,U models are really getting scarce.Get the Mack now, later down the road you can always find another Pontiac. That old U looks pretty solid, other than that front corner, fiberglass is an easy fix.
  23. He drove an old Autocar and won a V%#^o.
