  1. My Dad traded for a new Dodge 1500 diesel awhile back,he loves it,great mpg, likes it alot better than his old one with the Hemi.
  2. you going to paint it and the B42 to match your B61?
  3. Some people don't know proper way to measure wheelbase. I was told the red one I bought in FL was longer than what it really was, they wre measuring from center of rear axle instead of center of tandem
  4. that isn't what I saw,the E actually looked like a truck. I sure hope they didn't cut up a whole truck to make that.
  5. I've had alot of people want to buy this off me and turn into a rat rod,not going to happen as long as I'm alive. I've got a '48 EQ chassis and enough sheet metal to build a nice truck.
  6. I watched part of a TV show the when I was in hospital called Vegas Rat Rods, they were building a D series IH for a customer, but in the background they had a really decent looking EF or EG Mack.
  7. not many of those survived, basically just a steel rod with a ball joint on each end,an early type of shock absorber, the bottom would attach to front axle.
  8. I'll be lucky if I get enough interest to pay for the asprin they gave me.
  9. wasn't the front half of that AC sold on Ebay,or am I thinking of another.I remember it being in excellent shape, just cut in two.
  10. I never could get any fuel mileage out of the '07 CHN's my son drove. 4 to 4.5 pulling a 53' livestock trailer. How much coolant are you losing? Do you have the stainless overflow tank or plastic? The stainless tank helps, but I've been told these were prone to "coolant push" and using some coolant was not unheard of.
  11. I got a major reality check today,f'n hospital bill showed up in the mail.Needless to say, being self employed my insurance sucks and of course my truck sat 2 weeks so that makes things that much more interesting. I'm putting some stuff up for sale,I need some SERIOUS buyers.Projects and parts trucks,I'm starting out with a few if you see something that is of SERIOUS interest,PM me. 15. A girlfriend in high school had a '75 Valiant, she asked me one day if I would change a flat for her,I twisted 2 studs of before I realized the old Plymouth had left handed threads. I'd never heard of cars having them, just Budd wheels.
  16. Somebody with one big ass sand box.
  17. Here's a couple more from 30 yrs. ago,my B61 before it burnt up in Mar.'85 And my Dad's new Superliner shortly after we got it in April,'85
  18. they made 20,1976 to 78
  19. I'm not very well versed on either those CM's or the Midliners to know what is interchangable, the cabs look the same,I think the only difference is the CM's had a heavier chassis and different engine, they were billed as being a "Baby 8"..They didn't seem to catch on and there were only 586 of them made.
  20. I have a CS Midliner cab & chassis,no engine,trans.,or hood,other than missing 1 wiper arm,the cab is intact. $750 .I think it is a '94 or '95
  21. No this one was WL786LST38709,we bought this one brand new, traded a '68 F785ST in on it. Dad drove this one for 2 years,it was the truck I learned to drive on and took my test in.When Dad got his new green one in '80,it passed down to a hired driver. I drove it for a short time in '85 between my '67 F611 and my '76 R600. It was sold on a Taylor&Martin auction in Peoria ,IL in 1988 and I lost track of it.
  22. This was me 30 yrs. ago
  23. I tried to buy a '70 R685 along time back that had that overdrive 6 speed, sure not many around,I haven't seen another since. Have seen 2 with the lo hole version, the were set up like a 12 speed, with the aux.stick in lo,it locked out everything in the main box except 1st and reverse.
