  1. Yep,the ones on a Superliner are a little taller than on a R model for some reason, but basic design is the same
  2. This is what a bracket looks like I have no clue as to maker of that bunk
  3. Kinda looks like a Rest-Rite,could tell better from a side view. Able,Double Eagle,rest-Rite,and Morgan offered cut out corners,I'm sure there were others. Later R models had stacks with frame mounted brackets just like the Superliner 2's,seen plenty of those with bunks.
  4. Every Ford Able I ever saw had no cutouts, that doesn't look like an Able to me at all..
  5. I've decided not to sell (give away or export) this truck.
  6. If it's a B75LT,the rears aren't original,as it would have been a single drive axle. Also it wouldn't have had a turbo. Not a deal killer though if done right. If it's solid as it looks,I wouldn't let it get away if you want it. Make him an offer, you might get lucky.
  7. most of the 300+ powered trucks that were in this area in the day had the RT1110 Fuller and 3:65's or a TRDL1070 Mack 10 speed and 4:17's.This gave you about 68 mph at 1950. Either way,5:02's would be pretty slow
  8. same reason you wanted a 3 speed behind your Triplex
  9. If I ever get so old that the beautiful sound that my unmuffled trucks make bothers me,please someone shoot me in the head and put me out of my misery. I've always wanted to have the time and the batteries to start about 25 or 30 just to see if I could make the ground rumble.
  10. C&H Truck parts in S.Sioux City,Neb. has a bunch of them,thats were I got my windshield.
  11. It's not that difficult, the guy that bought my '99 CH has done several. I lost his phone# but his name is Joey Sherman,I know he used to check this site once in awhile.
  12. Mine said once " You buy one more truck and I'm leaving" Evidently I haven't bought the right "one more truck" yet,so I keep trying.
  13. I think the front Mack emblem is the same as used on the LF,you might make a B model one work if you could bend it to meet the curve of the grille shell.,the Bulldog base may be the same as LF or close, also. Are you needing the A30 emblem used on the early ones that looked like the ones used on the E models,or the chrome A30 that went on the hood sides on the later ones?
