  1. that's awful close to this one of mine,it's G73LST1466
  2. unless prices are higher out there, that's more than current scrap price, here at least.
  3. It used to belong to and was restored by Milt Smazik? from Lockport,IL. He used a L model cab, notice the louvres in the corners.
  4. Most likely someone has either change rear ends or front axle.About the only time you ever saw 20" hubs on the front and 22 on the rear is if it was spec'd with flotation tires on the steer

  8. I just got home from paying for the trailers and p[icking up the titles, these were one owner trailers. The 40's are '75's and the 45's are '76's.All good dry trailers, just going to need a little door work, best part they were really, really cheap.

  10. Hauling out of the field this week My uncle's farm truck,'79 DM685S,237 with a air shift 6 speed. Caught a stray rock Bought 5 storage trailers,2 Fruehauf 40 ft.,2 fruehauf 45 ft. and a Wabash 53 ft. Took a few pics in the NW pasture while I was hunting some parts.
  11. it's been done,I've seen Pete,KW,IH and Western Star sleepers used, only thing I can say it's better than nothing. I'd say the Western Star looks the least out of place. The Bentz built sleepers of an IH aren't bad,but they are pretty boxy looking. Here's a W900A sleeper on my '80 RWS766LST "Junkyard Dog".
  12. Yes,on the older R models there was a knob you twisted that manual opened the cowl vent,I know my '76 was that way.
