  4. I thought I had a pic of the sign in front of it,but I guess I don't and I can't remember what it was. There was an artical on this truck in Double Clutch awhile back if anyone remembers, that was before Iowa 80 bought it.
  5. the current oldest known AB is now at the Iowa 80 museum,it's a 1915
  6. in case anyone is wondering,it's a B42,still has gas engine, and does have a title
  7. not going to happen,already have a B model mixer.tempting though.
  8. 30 yrs. difference between the truck and trailer
  9. there's part of your post that I can't make out,can someone translate what "a truck I don't need " means.
  10. I'm guessing b model frame, from the looks of the channel shaped bracket you can see behind the front wheel, plus those are definitely a B model's fuel tanks
  11. Stole these pics off FB. I can't say I like the way it looks, but you gotta give some of these guys in other countries credit for using whatever it takes to keep them on the road.
  12. Hauled some more cement blocks,Granites everywhere. This outfit is pretty big in this part of the state, they must have around 100 mixers & 25 tractors on tankers and end dumps. Hauled away an old Chevy. Bought this '01 dodge 3/4 ton van for $300,not real pretty but it runs good, going to use it as my "yard" vehicle.Going to fill it with tools,no more lugging my toolbox everytime I go into the back 40 to get a part.Hopefully it will cut down on lost wrenches too. Pig hauling yesterday, got to pull the newest trailer. Old KW cabover sitting in line waiting to unload Hauled away this old'46 GMC,room for more Macks! It had this really neat old 2 speed control on the dash these were at the place I hauled the Chevy & GMC to,he fixes some up,and sells projects and parts.
  13. I was meaning for each ,there's a Dodge just like that local been for sale going on 3 yrs.,only difference it has a spreader box,low miles on new engine,5x4 trans.,rock solid cab,a very little rust in top of fenders.,,$1200 would buy it but he's had no takers both trucks are cool as hell,if it was me,I'd keep them, tinker around on them a little, and since your in excavating, you could get a little use out of them.
  14. that style or the new areo one? Mack dealer here told him they could only get the new style and they look like shit on a R model
  15. find somebody parting out a CF firetruck, they are the same,I've had no luck finding new
  16. to be honest, for the conditon,as is, about $1500 to $2000 apiece, the trailer probably has the most value.,but would most likey need tires (which aren't cheap) before anyone would want to haul anything heavy on it.
  17. Friend of mine is looking for a new bug deflector like this one for his R model. Clear or smoked color.
