  1. Only had 1 mirror on it when I got it and kinda hard to see so I scrounged a door hinge mirror bracket off one of my old rusty E's for the RH side, didn't have any mirrors or arms that matched the LH one,but I did have these stainless ones. Not quite period correct, but I can see behind me now. Also found this old Moline Body Co. tag to put on the bed. They were a pretty popular truck bed mfg.co.around this area for many years, based in Moline,IL. Probably not one of their beds on the truck, but nobody will probably know the difference.

  9. I thought that looked like the same truck, thanks !
  10. if your air starter is working good,by all means leave it,like matt said, you can always get air from your tires, that's better than buying batteries,I love the air starter on my RL700 Mack.

  18. I have a twin screw G73 with the Page&Page,too,with Mack rears. Also a C609T & a B61 with Page&Page pusher axles and a V200 IH with a Page&Page tag.
  19. They sell straight unleaded here, and that's what I use in the old tractors,my lawnmower(on the very rare occasions that it's not broken and I actually try to mow). That's what I put in the Mack and I put some lead in to just to be safe
  20. Got home tonite, took it to truckstop for a tank of gas(Do any of you put the lead additive in for your old gas engines or just use straight unleaded?) and went for a ride into town, going to get doors lettered tomorrow if sign painter shows up.Also found an ashtray in my stash of goodies that fit in the mystery bracket that was under glovebox. Were these aftermarket or a Mack option?
  21. I'm wondering if that Superliner was a Freedom,it's the right year .
