  1. yep they made tubeless 5 hole wheels, but only 22.5 I have a few hiding in the barn, just put these on the G model. Have a set on my '65 B61 too.
  2. Last time Rob (thomastractorsvc) and family were up to get some parts, his wife took a liking to one of my A-54 tractors,so I added a 2nd for parts to the deal and we did some trading. They made the trip up for the i 80 show at Walcott in his '78 RWL766 and newly rebuilt trailer brought me these. Came home this a.m. and unloaded the B-30's and loaded the A-54's .It was pretty hot and 4 inches of rain yesterday made for some tough going,so I didn't get alot of pics, but we got them loaded. Can't wait to see it finished, the A54's are pretty scarce,I don't think I've ever seen one restored at a show anywhere.
  3. for $2500 you better get the whole truck, not just the engine,in my opinion
  4. I'm sorry but that hood looks awful
  5. Unless it has a true Superliner cab and hood,it could never wear the Superliner badge
  6. That is unreal.I can't imagine how many hours you must have in it.
  7. on a spread like these, you are allowed 20k per axle on the trailer so with 80k gross, you don't have to get as much weight on the steer and drives. In Iowa, with a spread axle livestock trailer,we can gross 86k on non-interstate roads
  8. nothing wrong with a 30 yr. old Dodge,either
  9. My Walcott plans got kicked in the nuts today. Still going but only after 5 Thur. and Friday,be there all day Sat., I hope.
  10. don't have to chain the hogs down, though
  11. 89 was last year for the regular R model, the 90 R D's kept the old hood and in '91 they got the new sloped hood, production ended in 2004 with the "Legend" limited edition RD's
  12. it is a Case, not sure on exact model
  13. they pull them at the Old Threshers show at Mt.Pleasant,Ia every year
  14. Thought we were going to get Friday off,but ended up hauling concrete blocks for a new hog building. Some Macks at the concrete plant. Unloading at the jobsite, these precastblocks are used to make the compost pit. They don't incinerate dead hogs anymore, they compost them, pretty nasty if you ask me,but it makes the tree huggers happy Got done, hauled ass home just in time to get trucks loaded to go truck pulling in Oquawka,IL. A couple other Mack haulers at the pull This one came from the same tanker fleet my '78 Valueliner came from. Unfortunately, this is where my camera died,no more pics from the pull, but I got 3rd with the Cruiseliner and Mikey got 4th with the RL Had to return borrowed trailer so we squeezed both on my trailer Sat.a.m. for the ride home. My class had its 30th reunion Sat. so I volunteered the RD rollback for a parade float. Drank enough beer to float a barge and ate enough food to sink it,so that pretty much did me in for the rest of Sat. nite My buddy got a new flip axle for his trailer put on,he picked up this steam engine &ran it thru the parade before taking it to it's new home. Last thing,Lilly's goat herd grew some more, here's 2 of the new "mowers",got 3 new babies total, she's up to 18 goats now.
  15. Definitely a no miss show. I'll be there too.
  16. that was on Ebay a couple years ago, broght between 5 and 6k if i remember right
  17. I never checked with Mack yet, they usually look at me like I have 3 heads when I ask them to look up something like this.
  18. just a heads up,the '04's were plagued with troubles, like hatcity said,by now most of the bugs should be gone, but there might be a very good reason it only has 490k miles. My brother had one and it was so bad,Mack finally took it back. I'd be damn sure to get a report on it from a Mack dealer.
  19. I really don't think it's been chopped down,I think it's a combination of the front being bent all to hell, and the angle of the photo. The headlight panels have me stumped, though
  20. as nice as that looks, you can pretty much name your own price, and don't be afraid to start out very, very high. The thing about a Mack Jr. pickup, besides the fact they are so rare,is that they fall into the catergory of vehicles that the old car crowd is interested in,also. $90k to $100k and that might be on the low side.
  21. Don't think that's it,Ernie,the gals liked my Brocks,too.
