  1. no,it's a different guy,he musta bought it just to try and turn it.
  2. Anyone remember this paint #. I used to have this wrote down, but can't find it. a friend of mine was wanting to try a get some mixed up to do some touch up in his H model.
  3. That was for sale late last fall in OH for $950 . I thought I had a deal with the owner to hold it till I could get a ride for home, guess not.
  4. Those were the Jacobs "Stealth" engine brake. Had one on my '97 CH, Mite as well stuck an umbrella out the window, would have worked better and sure as hell would have made more noise.
  5. Could you gut yours out and just stick a dry filter in its place,i'm sure you could find an ag or construction filter of some type that would fit. I've got one or 2 laying around you could practice on so you didn't mess yours up.
  6. didn't they have a kit for B model oil bath aircleaners, maybe one of them would work.
  7. I've got that same thing somewhere I got when I was a kid.
  8. That should be easy for an upholstery shop to make,I bet finding a new one is going to be pretty tough.
  9. Exactly,I don't think they took that into consideration right away on the first batch of Superliner II's. They used the MH chassis for these, like they used the Cruiseliner chassis for the original Superliner's
  10. If it weren't for the fact this guy was true to his word,I wouldn't have gotten it. Yesterday afternoon he called me and told me another guy(ATHS member and collector of Hendricksons) kept calling and pestering him to sell it told him he was in the area now and had cash. Even after explaining that he wasn't going to back out of our deal, the guy kept calling and even offered more money. I guess it kinda made him mad when he told the guy he was more interested in trading with me for parts than he was in the guys cash.
  11. They guy I got this stuff from is fixing up a '76 R model,he threw the tanks in on the deal.Their good tanks,he just put aluminum ones on it.
  12. I can't wait to get the cab up to see how they engineered this set up,as you may not know, the shift tower on a Cruiseliner had a breakaway ball and socket set up,the shift lever stayed in the cab,no hole in the floor,so they've had to come up with something similar to add a 2nd lever set up.
  13. I don't know how many of the short bunks they made,I've only ever seen one other in person, and a very few in pics. I'm going to get the big hunk of steel plate and the rest of the framework for the body off it for now and Mikey wants the aluminum sunvisor and interior rear bunk panel for the black one. Just have to see what happens when I get it running, need to replace some missing battery cables and one of the ATAAC tubes got "borrowed".
  14. That's the story of my life . I try to get rid of some, then something pops up . I got a couple old trailers to scrap to cover this one and I guess the shed will have to wait another year.
  15. it's damn stout for a cabover, The guy said it weighed 52000 lbs with the flatbed and knuckle boom still on it,
  16. Another Craigslist bargain, this time from MO. '82 WS785LS short sleeper . I was told it has a EM6-275 ,which doesn't jive with the model # but I will have to confirm this when we get it unloaded. It does have a ATAAC,so it could be a replacement. It does have ,believe it or not,a 5 speed with a 4 speed aux.,2 sticks in a Cruiseliner, I will get pics of this also, when we get it unloaded,my buddy Larry that hauled it said too damn cold today to mess with it.. The truck had been fitted with a flatbed and crane, that was removed and put on another truck. It's got some scuffs and scrapes, but its a low mile unit. This too,I bought as a parts truck to have for Mikey's truck, but now that I've seen it in person, plans will probably change. Anyone need some outriggers and a big square hydraulic tank?
  17. just getting ready to start a new post
  18. Just got back from the WI with this load of goodies.
  19. The wider nose gives it the illusion of it being short
  20. Dad's 2010 has the same setup, the DPF filter or whatever you call it is behind the step on the RH side, and they have a step/toolbox on the LH side.
