  1. Yes, the bumper that was on the Cruiseliner when we bought it came from there. It was so flimsy the previous owner made plywood inserts on the backside to stiffen it up.
  2. My green '85 is like that too,no quick filter changes.
  3. good quality, priced fair, chrome steel or stainless, several options on styles, fog light holes, step holes etc. Bought this bumper from them last year, fit perfect, bolt and tow hook holes lined up fine. I don't remember the company I got this bumper and the one on my '88 from, bought the pair on Ebay a few years ago, nice bumpers but the holes didn't line up perfect, had to ream them fit.
  4. That was the original plan, but ended up I had to work this a.m. I coulda brought my hopper, too had I known you were having a wash party,it sure needs it,but been too damn cold for this old man to do it.
  5. I got a little more than that in it,but luckily it's all in parts trading. Come to find out, this came off a '76 R600 the guy is fixing up and I just happened to have a few things he was needing. Going to work out good for both of us.
  6. Love the color, does it have a Dynatard or Jake? Do you have all the emblems, horns and lights for it ? Wheelbase? Double or single frame ?
  7. I've got 4:42's behind a 2090 on 11R22.5's,pulls good but a little slow on road speed,my Liberty with 4:17's did a good job
  8. That's kinda what I thought.
  9. I bought that early in the week, going to pick it up Saturday

  11. no,those a "dummy" shutters, hes not missing anything. I've got a set or 2 just like them off B42's also.
  12. I think it was more of a gas engine thing
  13. Cost me $2200 freight included to get the pump and injectors gone thru on the Cruiseliner. Pump shop in Ft.Dodge,IA did the work. I thought that was pretty reasonable.
  14. What I wouldn't give to find this truck.
  15. I've got a pic somewhere that Roger gave me ,it's a night shot, hooked onto his pot. I'll see if I can find it sometime.
  16. Sad news for sure, thanks for letting us know. Condolences to his family.
  17. That was a '65 B773 that belonged to Roger Hanefeld. It was repowered with a 400 Cummins,13 speed Fuller and newer Mack rears on Camelback. He used the truck for several years, then put it up for sale. I tried to buy it,but it ended up in Canada. I saw some pics later of it in a body shop being redone, again, lost track of it since.Other than the Pete sleeper that didn't do much for me,it was a very nice truck.
  18. If it was black, that sounds just like the one from Toledo,IA I mentioned. It was a '57.

  20. Welcome, pics and specs would sure help us to know what you are needing help with.
  21. I'm pretty sure those trucks both belong to Gib Gibson, owner of Gibson's Truck Parts from Cowpens,SC.It's been a few years since I saw him last at Walcott,I had heard he had health issues.
  22. I've got a sleeper and some small parts to pick up in Gallipolis, find a load out of there headed west and come to Iowa for a visit.
  23. Air compressor crapped out in the Cruiseliner, went to Mack, none anywhere in system, tried 3 other places, finally Truck Repair was able to get one straight from Bendix, just gotta wait for it to be shipped. WTF???? A million 6 cylinder Macks running around and no other compressor will fit a E6??? What am I missing?
  24. Oh it has budds on it now. Was trying to hold out for a set of hub pilot hubs so I could use wheels I already had,but got tired of his daily bitching and swapped hubs from my'87 R model . Then had to scrounge up some 22.5 aluminum ball & seat wheels.Poor kid had to run steel budds for almost a month.
