  1. The B75 had the END673 Mack engine and also the END711 was available after 1962,the B753 had the turbo'd ENDT673,and the B755 had the V8 END864 Mack
  2. yep, that is correct,B73's had natural aspirated Cummins in them,220's some very late ones had 250's.B733 had the turbo'd 262,B77's had the supercharged Cummins, and B773 had the 335 Cummins
  3. I'd probably bend the hood if I tried this today. My 1st B-61 shortly before getting it painted.Somewhere around 1983.
  4. you would just have to find a ratio that would provide that right road speed with the smaller tires. I'll look for sure, but I think the tire size is 255/70R22.5 There is quite a bit of height difference between those and a 11R22.5,I think they would work and would sure be alot cheaper than getting adapters and all new wheels
  5. Very interesting. First time I've seen mention of an aluminum frame option for the G model.
  6. why not just go with a really lo pro 22.5 like they use on dropdecks?
  7. not sure about hub adapters but a automatic wouldn't be a problem. A friend of mine put one behind a E6-350 in his Superliner
  8. are you 100% sure your power cord is good, that would be first place I'd check
  9. You should be able to swap the front hub from the Vision to your CH,just check the bearing numbers to make sure.
  10. Just be glad it wasn't on this Conway truck. This happened last week about 35 miles from me.
  11. hoods changed a little,fuel tanks,bumpers,that's a few things I can think of
  12. borrowed these pics from McDevitt's website, beautiful Superliner and pretty damn cool parts lobby.
  13. Awhile back there was a thread on FB concerning the 1st R model built. Pics were posted of a '65 R607T serial # R607T1001 and claimed it was 1st R model ever. It started quite a longdiscussion,so I contacted the museum and just got the results . The very 1st R model to come off the line was serail # R609LST1001.,built April 6,1965. So if anyone knows the whereabouts of this truck,it would be a true milestone in world history.
  14. Anybody know how to make a good mold,I've got alot of aluminum I can melt. Can't think it would be that hard..As good as that 3M emblem tape is,they wouldn't have to have the mounting tabs.
  15. Just heard back from Mike at McDevitt. They had no repros made. He said they did get the last set in the system, but put them on their Superliner that is on display at the museum.
  16. you need to get back there with your camera,Ernie.
  17. I'd rather be a bouncer than a bartender if that's ok?
  18. none, they'll take your money and register your truck no matter what it is.
  19. Yeah,I was thinking more on the 2000 yr range for the patent # being replaced by that 7 digit registration #. . Dad's last Cruiseliner was a '80 and it still had a gold Bulldog with ears and a tail, too,I think I've got an '81 R model out here,I'll check it out later and see if it has bobbed ears.
  20. Damn I hate to argue with the info Don sent you,but the all Mack component gold Bulldog started way before 2007,I'm certain it was as early as ''95 or 96 but I do know for fact it was that way in '97 as I had a new gold dog '97 CH613,delivered Dec.,1996,E7-427,T2130,and 4:17 Mack rears. Also I didn't think the patent # changed until sometime much later than '79,Newest truck I have to check is my '88 and it still has good old 87931 proudly printed on its chest.
  21. That was a brand new 1974 Chamberlin 43 ft. pot. Chamberlin trailers were built in Hampton,IA and was owned by Wilson.towards their end, they closed the Hampton plant and were built in Sioux City with the Wilsons, until they quit making them sometime in the late '80's or early '90's.
  22. it would look a helluva lot better painted green and hooked to a slat side pot,
