  1. I probably should keep my mouth shut as to not jinx myself, but I bought my '88 Superliner for $18150 with a '91 Wilson hopper. Sold the trailer for $13k,leaving $5150 for the truck.put about $3500 in it for a paint job,4 aluminum wheels and a new bumper, none of which was truly necessary, but I wanted it to look nice too. Spent $200 the 1st year in repairs(blew out a 25 year old air bag.) This last year,I hate to report that repairs costs almost doubled,as I blew out the last remaining original air bag,and had to replace a leaking waterpump. Also a broken throttle spring, that was $6 but I did get 2 in the package,so I have a spare now. Only real downtime was fixing the airbag, fixed the waterpump on an off day.

  3. if you swap them out,I'd be interested in your old ones
  4. thats unreal. that's so close to my Dad's 1st Mack,it better go to a good home.
  5. From some reason,I thought the emblems were on it,thats why I looked up the old pics. I'll do some digging,I might be able to turn up at least one.
  6. Damn Steve,didn't know you'd been sick .
  7. Here's a couple pics of your B755 when it was still sitting in the building in WA . Sure wish now I would have sent them the $2500 and worried about how to get it home later. You sure got a keeper.
  8. that would still be a E7
  9. 2 stick 6 speed, 5 gears on the main stick,lo,hi and reverse on the compound. nothing to it,use lo in 1st for creeper gear, you can use any of the 5 main gears for reverse, depending on the situation. Hi in compound 1 thru 5 for normal driving.
  10. just remember, what looks like junk today, might look pretty good to somebody else in a few years ,try not to throw anything away.
  11. Guess I missed it when you first posted, that should hold up very well.
  12. just the one to the frame
  13. I really like that overheard console. Did you make that ?
  14. There was a post on FB from the new owner
  15. That B755 emblem will be the hard one to get,you mite have to cut a "B" from another emblem and improvise.
  16. They look about right, the left pic is deceiving because its a closer shot.
  17. Mack only ever had one style of V8 emblem, only change was they made some in gold for the Maxidyne V8's.
  18. The V8 emblems are missing
  19. about the only way to get the bolts in a Bulldogs feet is to take the grillle shell off.
  20. For sale, new reproduction F model grille, these are chromed plastic, not steel so they won't ever rust. I have 2 extra,$225.00 each plus shipping.
  21. one thing about it,they didn't have to worry about blowing out any tires.
  22. the AMT Cruiseliners were all based on the early Cruiseliner, for the most part . It has the recessed headlight panels,Bulldog emblems above the Cruiseliner emblem,Bulldog medallion in grille, and 2 air tanks on both sides, but for some reason, they built it with the later single air intake and aircleaner canister mounted behind the engine, not behind front wheel like the early ones. These kits are always on Ebay if you want one. They never made an Eastcoast kit,but I've seen resin conversion cabs.
  23. I don't remember, think it was a shirt. Told you to stick it in with my parts order, but it didn't show up,emailed back a couple times about it. Been 3 or 4 years ago.
  24. Originally the gold Bulldog was for all Maxidyne powered trucks, didn't matter what rear end was.
