  7. I borrowed this pic,but it was taken at Walcott the year Art Robinson brought his AC,he was a super nice guy,and really took a liking to Mikey. Art couldn't see very well so didn't get to drive his trucks.didn't stop him from enjoying them, though. I was standing out next to the show entrance talking to some people, and next thing I knew, this AC came flying by,Mikey driving and Art riding.

  12. I gotta agree with storkmack, every Dynatard I ever had worked good. I was always told the secret was in keeping the valves properly adjusted.
  13. yep,had they metal spring loaded latch that didn't last 6 months, don't think I've seen too many that didn't have a tarp strap holding the lid on
  14. They must be still available, but not cheap. Local Mack dealer called me about a month ago looking for one. Seems that one of their technicians was forced to work on an old Valueliner and had to jump start it to get it in the shop. He forgot to pick the lid up and ran over it. I told them $100 for a good used one,the owner threw a fit and said he'd find one cheaper. I talked to the shop foreman a week later and he told me they had to order a new one,$500 dealer cost.
  15. They made a 3412 V12 that has found it's way into a truck or 2. A friend of mine was building one when he died, never got finished and don't know where the pieces went. It was going in an extended hood, extended cowl W900.
  16. I'd take $12500 for my '65 U model,I'd even have it painted.
  17. That is one thing that really bugs me. Had one guy tell me," a wheel is a wheel".
  18. Yeah, that's pretty tacky, when it was built it had spokes all around.
  19. I contacted them about 5 years ago and asked if they would sell it and was politely told NO.
