  1. I'll bet money it ain't going to be still around and working 28 years later like the millionth Mack still is. Wonder how many Mack is up to by now?
  2. The guy I talked to said $8500,but they would probably deal.I would hate to offer $5000 if I didn't want to own it.
  3. Wish I would have known you were this close. I posted pics of that B61 in Monmouth in here a couple months ago,it is nice.needs a little work, but not bad at all.
  4. I wonder if that Cummins emblem has been trimmed or if it was made that way,if so,Ive never seen one like it. Wonder what the DF stands for,my old DiamondT is a 923 too,but not a DF,it has the Comfo-Vision cab.
  5. I've been looking, only ones that have turned up are the old AM oes that mounted on the roof or the normal kind, not the ones for the vertical dash mounted position in the older R models.
  6. Looking for a working, vertically mounted Mack AM/FM radio for my '80 RD. Thought I'd see if there were any out there before I settled on putting a regular one in. I might consider just an AM one.
  7. So the exporter has it listed on Ebay??
  8. Hope you get it,I won something a couple years back, never did get it.
  9. I wonder which version of the R600,the first one with spokes and square tanks or the 2nd with aluminum budds and round tanks.
  10. The 237 is a 2 valve engine. A EM6-237 is just the later ID for a ENDT-675,You shouldn't have any trouble finding another to replace it.
  11. Believe it or not,I got him a Bruder Granite tractor and lowboy the day he was born, got the ride on version ordered. He got an antique for Xmas,a First Gear B model plush toy dump truck.
  12. Yes I do,and you are right,it's unreal what those bring on Ebay. I was lucky enough to get Mikey one for cheap at a yard sale,he built it as a regular DM600 and took the Duck stuff and made a R model into a RD truck, didn't have the long hood but didn't turn out too bad .
  13. I believe the first Mack I saw with the Mack adopted Hendrickson air ride was a '89 Superliner,my '88 is Neway.Neway goes way back into the '70's if not a little farther. Page & Page had an air ride set up that I've seen on an older Western R and I've seen another called Western air, which later ,I've been told but can't confirm, became Pete air leaf used on some older Hayward Macks.
  14. If I remember right, the White Road Boss,White Western Star,Autocar tractor and dump truck, and the Diamond REO all had the 11:00x22 Uniroyal tires, the rest had either Firestone or Goodyear 10:00x20's. I also remember when AMT went to a really crappy 2 piece tire made out of harder plastic. ERTL used 11:00x20 Goodyears on the Macks,They used some 2 piece tires, too. I only ever had the 4200 IH and the Paystar 5000,don't know how many of their others did. Seems like they all had a good variety of engines, the ERTL DM600 had a ENDT673C,the DM800 hand the ENDT865 V8.The 4200 came with a 903 Cummins and the Paystars had the V800 IH diesel. AMT used the ENDT675 in the R and the 676 in the Cruiseliner, 8V71's in the Astro, Chevy Titan 90,and the early Pete's with 350 Cummins in the later 359,the KW's had a NTA370 with a 5x4 in the W900,the White Freightliner had a 250 Cummins, The later KW Areodyne had a 8V92 with an Allison, and the 2 Tyrone Malone race trucks had 12V71's with Allisons. That's all I can remember. I've still got a few unbuilt ones in the attic.
  15. Could be worse, could be one of those damn yeller motors.
