  1. I am working on it,but if someone closer wants it,go for it. I'd much rather have one with a bunk, but I have been losing weight, maybe by the time I can get it home,I'll fit behind the wheel.
  2. The very first truck model I had was the White Road Boss, got it for Christmas in .1974. I'd take it out of the case and take a pic,but it's been so long since I moved it I'm afraid it might fall apart. Later I got a ERTL DM600,and then a DM800. It wasn't until '76 that AMT came out with the R model Mack kit, then the Cruiseliner about a year later. Used to buy those kits for $4.99 to $7.99.
  3. looks great, hope to do the same soon
  4. There been just as many if not more budds come loose as spokes, seen the centers bust out of more than one,all boils down to proper installation and maintenance

  6. I like it. I've got a steel nose for a DM600 that would look pretty sweet on that truck.

  12. Back when I had my car crusher, people used to drop off misc. scrap when I wasn't around. One guy dump off some scrap one day,and also left me a garbage bag full of dog shit. Luckily my wife had seen who it was so I kindly returned his bag too him,and since it was raining that day,I placed it in the cab of his pickup so it wouldn't get wet.Best part was he was gone for the weekend and didn't find it until Monday.
  13. you could throw those butts out in my driveway any time
  14. A friend of mine up by Chicago did this to his B-85 ex-firetruck a few years ago, made a different truck out of it.
  15. I better not visit,huh?
  16. you'll want to change transmissions and rear end, too, the trans. will be too light for the engine and rear end ratio will be too slow, going from gas to diesel.motor mounts will have to be changed too, most likely.
  17. Come on,Matt,it's worth $500 to save it from getting scrapped. No brainer if I was that close.
