  1. Waiting to unload at Cargill in Beardstown,IL 4 at chutes,6 at the fans and I'm first truck on the street,3 hours later I was unloaded, not good on a 90 degree day.Look who showed up right behind me. Waitng for a Sharkey Pinnacle to get out of my way so I can get inside the gate. Sharkey used to used this old ex-Smith Transfer R model for a spotter at the plant, but it hasn't moved for years.
  2. Saw these new Prostars parked along the highway about 20 miles north of me.Looks like he's pretty proud of them. Some old iron at a farm I loaded hogs at yesterday, unknown dirt scraper, old Bucyrus-Erie dozer blade and a Chevy 4100 Waiting for farmer to show up so I can load Inside my trailer Neat old building in Greenbush,IL,a little wide spot in the road, way off the beaten path.I'm guessing it was the General Store at one time.
  3. that C model looks pretty decent
  4. Always liked that truck
  5. don't know yet,but I'm sure I'll find out.
  6. Not always true,I can honestly say there is no amount of money in the world that would make me sell my '85 Superliner that Dad bought new or the remains of the old Crackerbox that was Dad's first diesel truck. Some things are more important than money, they print that stuff everyday.
  7. Go ahead, I don't need anything that low geared,if they were 3:87's I'd take them.
  8. Put the new rollback to work today, hauled home this '62 Ford C600 . After that I move this cutoff out of my front yard, friend of mine dropped it off the other day when it was wet,so we just unloaded it at the edge of the yard. Wife about backed into it twice now,so thought I better relocate it. 4:17's on taperleaf, gonna put them under my blue '74 RS795 that had no rears when I got it.
  9. A N73 if it had a Cummins,N75 if Mack powered.
  10. I'm thinking its the one with the gray/silver B73 on the cover
  11. Well,I was right, the kid just stopped by to empty out his pickup and there was the muffler. Anybody needs it,let me know quick, mufflers around here end up in the scrap pile pretty fast.
  12. That's Mikey's other baby, it's a '99 with 138k on it.He's got it chipped up and it runs. Blows almost as much black smoke as the Cruiseliner(he fessed up to tweaking the pump on it a little too)
  13. I'd bet a six pack Mikey has that took off already.
  14. Name: '80 Roll back Date Added: Owner: Superdog Superdog

  16. The R model roll back is home and even hauled its 1st load. Mikey and I went to pick it up and just loaded his pickup up for the trip home. She is a keeper for sure, runs and drives great, ride wasn't even all that bad considering the stack of springs it has. Mikey took it home to give it a good interior cleaning. Gonna try to get it spruced up a little before it goes to work..
  17. I don't remember what Mack book it was,but there is a pic of one of these, maybe it was this one, parked with some other retired CFD trucks.
  18. cab mounts should be available from any Mack dealer, they also used them for motor mounts
  19. Anyone remember the stainless cap they had for the Lund visor? Those are even harder to find.Been looking for one of those for along time.
  20. definately a rare one, what was the story on why they used the L cab/B75 front end and yet still called them B85"s,do you know?
