  1. unbelievable workmanship and patience,I'll bet you will even have a tiny set of keys for it.
  2. this came from the Cruiseliner, they shared the same chassis as the Superliner I just like the MH shared same chassis with the Superliner II
  3. Everybody has their own preferences, personally,if it has a hood 212 " wb min.,
  4. Sharp truck, wish I had need of another.
  5. To be honest,I don't know what other differences there might be,but at best they would be minor ones, like you said, most things are identical other than pump and injectors, turbo probly, too.
  6. Ok,that makes more sense, you had RS600 posted first time around. Yeah, they made a bunch of the RL and RS 773's, This truck was at the Springfield ATHS show. It's not bad, doors are a bit rough, looks like its had a cuttoff, frame at rear ends a little iffy,Reyco suspension. Suppose to have a low mile military surplus engine, old girl sounds good. Tires weren't much to speak of. Same guy that had the Magnum Superliner on cover of WOT owns this truck.
  7. a DM819 would have had the twin turbo 864.
  8. Try Global or Manders in Lakville,MN . They shouldn't be that hard to find I wouldn't think.I always thought they were a damn good engine. My son loves the one in his Cruiseliner .
  9. If it's just a ST,it isn't heavy specs,probably just double frame and 44k rears at best.
  10. Our Trailers are 53 ft. long x 102 in wide . We mainly haul hogs, but do haul cattle too on the same trailers.a normal load of hogs is 170 hd., fat cattle 38 hd.. This all depends on weight of the stock,of course,The way we are set up,with tandem tractors and spread axle trailers limits us to 86000# gross in Iowa and 80000 in IL and MO. We could add one axle and go 90000 or 2 more and go 96000,but the other states we go to don't recognize the extra axles or weight . Just a drop in a bucket compared to what you guys down under haul.
  11. I just hope my son takes to the change .
  12. It's a custom job. The chassis is from a IH Westcoaster, which he had previously owned, sold, and went thru 2 other owners. The last owner took the cab and sheet metal off it and put on a newer Pete frame . Dave found out about it and bought the remains back. He then took an old KB6 that was one of his Dad's old trucks and combined the 2. The hood was stretched and grille shell widened and modified. It has a NTA380 that had powered the Westcoaster,7 speed main and 4 speed Brownie, and Freightliner air ride.It will scoot right down the road. The owner is a pretty cool old guy, At one time,he had a '75 Cruiseliner, that was one of Mack's show trucks at the International Trucking Show in CA when new,it was KT Cummins powered.
  13. Damn,I just realized for the first time in a long long long time,I won't be driving the oldest truck in the fleet anymore.
  14. As of 3 pm central time,today,6-21-14 Mike Harbison Trucking has officially backed out of the 21 st century. Sent our 2007 Rawhide to a new home in North Dakota. No more ECM,no more EGR,no more EUP's,no more lightning bolts and code flashing,no more $100/hr labor bills, just good old fashioned throttle linkage, injection pumps, and black smoke.
  15. I don't think they did. you got pics or a link to it?
  16. I know I'm going to regret this, but I'd sure like to see some pics,it's not that far from me.
