I used a mug weld.I’m thinking of using a tank sealer, just have to makeup a net to hold tank to splash the cleaner and sealer around the tank. -

First the green color and then the #90 gave it away.I will try and find just what type of truck it came from,it will be either a mixer or a triable dump.If I was to guess it will be a mixer their dump were used for snow detail and were pretty rotted out.

Congratulations, you have a great looking truck .Imin the middle of restoring my 1964 B873SX tractor. The best advice I or anyone else on this site will give you is to take plenty of pictures as you go along, and box or tag everything. Then when you go to reassemble it will be a lot easier.Again great truck. -

The other big Mack fleet in Baltimore was Joseph Huck they had red trucks with black frames. -
I am looking for the page in the parts book that show these parts. The reason is that I’m making a desk for my son who happens to sell Mack’s and other trucks for the local Mack dealer.I have the 2 fenders and radiator shell, still looking for the 2 pieces that go between the fenders and hood and the parts that tie everything together. So any help would be appreciated.

67rmodel,yes that was one of our trucks. It’s a 1984 DM800 with a cat under the hood.Dad ordered it,with 65000 rears.I remember it pulled a big press that we tipped the scale at around 250,000-300,000 lbs.All I remember is that when we lifted the gooseneck up off the ground the rear tandem tires went just about flat.Had to inflate them to 15-175 lbs.Truck never looked back.
