  1. Randy,I am Mike Durkin.Did you live on the line right above Chuck's.If so I rear ended your mother one rainy night when she was coming out of your driveway.
  2. Randy,I am going to test you and see if you have been hanging out at the Tilted Kilt to much.I grow up in Huntington Valley as well. Was only across the cornfield from the Marcucci's.The Flannigan's were up the hill from you,Tinari's greenhouse was across the street. What else do I remember about HV? Officer Hunter of the Lower Moreland PD.,Chuck Hale Gulf station,Ferreri's station across the street. Here's one from the past Liebold Ford. Now do you know who I am,we talked at the Mackfest. I am sorry to hear about your sister.
  3. Couple of questions, first 90wt oil for the steering box,15-40 for power steering ?
  4. I know it has been almost 2 years since I have posted anything about the rebuild of myB87 tractor, but me and my wife have been dealing with our daughter that has had an addiction problem for the past 14 years. It is not something I would wish on even my worst enemy. We have tried just about every rehab that we could find, but until they want the help no amount of money or your time will help. She has finally woke up to the fact of that continuing down the path she was on was the path to death. She has been clean now for over 8 months and it feels like a lifetime. Now on till the B87,I had her running in the last few weeks for the first time in 3 years it sounded great.I want to drive it out of the shop and will get some pictures of it and post them here. The paint job I put on her I'm not all that thrilled with.Going to get all the mechanical work button up then will most likely repaint her with a single coat and then clear coat it.
  5. I had some trucks made up with our logo from A Smith of England.
  6. Yes, you can run 2 12 volts instead of 4 6volts.One thing you should know your truck may start on 24volts and run on 12volts.You should look under the passenger seat and see if there is a spw this will tell you if it start on 24 and runs on 12.Good Luck.
  7. Again where is this truck located. The post on Craigslist has expired. Would like to the owner.
  8. Well it came out the top pretty good,it did help that I had some help.I did have the driver seat out and the driver door off also.
  9. Thanks j hancock,I will be looking for a helper,I was going to use 90wt oil but I like the grease as a solution.
  10. Thanks 41chevy.I have the front jacked up about 6" to give me a little more wiggle room.Biggest problem is that it so damm heavy.Once it on the floor not so bad,but when your trying to locate and twist all at same time it can be tough.
  11. After putting the cab back on the truck and getting it running the steering box decides to start leaking.I was just wondering if the box comes out through the cab or if you Jack up the front end and take it out the bottom.
  12. So are the B's there and for sale?Do we have a location on this yard?
  13. Wonder if they still have any of the b models left?Would like to check them out next time I M out there.
  14. I know right where that photo was taken. Can't imagine what JDM would be using a box truck for back then.My father had the first enclosed grease truck built back 1967-69 using a r model Mack.
  15. There will always be some dumb ass out there that's want to make it hard for someone else. That reminds me of the time I was coming down rt.33 in PA heading to rt22.As I was heading south I notice the road thinking down to one lane ahead. Now mind you I had the lowboy with a wide load and I wasn't going to fit.The company that was doing the roadwork decided to set up the barrier a day early.Well after I had the road shut down the state cops showed up.I showed them all my paper work and all they could do was look at me.I told them to move the cars behind me so I could backup to the last exit. The cop said that was over 3 miles,I told him to get at it.Gotta say he had a sense of humor. When I got to the end he has a can of Pepsi waiting for me.
  16. Found this old dog left in a parking lot, waiting for a tow.
  17. Sorry for your loss.41chevy I did just that, brought with my 56 Ford f600 back with me from Karaspell Mt.
  18. I was at my friend's place this morning and my camera failed. Will be back there in the morning. He did tell me that his are from a b61,just moved their position on the hood.If you want call me around 7-730 and I should be there by then and you can tell me what pic and measurements you need.
  19. I may have a pic of what you want.Mine would be of a B87,it all apart now but I think I have a pic of what you want before I removed the hood.I may be up at my friend's in the morning and he has a B81 dump, let me know if you need any other pics.
  20. We used Marko when we were in the excavating business. Was going to give them a call.I am first going to take it all apart and fix what I can myself.
  21. In philly, will be checking some other places this week.
  22. Yes, I have been to a local shop. The price was worse then the price I got to replace my 08 f150.The price was $2,000 and that was me doing all the work. Thanks for the info.
  23. Guys,I am looking for a good radiator core for my B87 that I am putting back together. It measures 31 wide x 34 high x 4" thick. The header is 8" wide and has 60 3/8 nuts and bolts that holds it all together. My old one just has to many pin holes in it to use.
