If I was a betting man and I am,my money would say it's from a caterpillar tractor.Most likely from one of their pony motor.All you have to do is call your local Cat store and give them the part number that's on it,and they will be able to tell you what part it is and what machine it goes with.

  6. TJC,who did drive for?We were based out of philly,but worked a4 state range.Our last DM tractor is supposed to be in the MD area roaming around as a tow truck.I've through about finding it and try to buy it back and make it back as a tractor.
  7. We had 3 of them as tandom dump that were real monsters,and then we had 2 as tractors that pull our lowboys.

  10. Looks like you have your winter workload lined up.Also looks like you have a nice shop to do all the fixing in.I had a b42 with a tank on it that I sold to a fellow from vir. He said he was going to make it into a car hauler.

Will your 5th wheel be a sliding one?You should measure from the center of the random to the rear of frame then add about 2 feet and you should be good.The other way you can check it is to have someone hold the end of the string line and you hold the other end and see how much you need to clear the end of the frame.
  13. I was told over the weekend that there was a B85 hauling blacktop on Saturday in the Lehigh Valley not that far from Macungie.It is suppose to be going to the Mack museum.

You hit the nail on the head farmer52,it not so much the trucks we come to see but the people we met that makes the shows.I have been going to tractor and truck shows for about 40 years and I can say I have made some friendships that will last forever. By the way it was a great show.There was a blue model ED that was parked right outside the shop does anyone know the owner would like to talk to him.
