  5. Believe me trying to reuse a wiring harness is not the way to go.I'm in the middle of redoing my 1964 B87 and have removed the harness and it can't be used over. What I am going to do to have the truck up and running is to rewire it my self.It is not all that bad to do.Good Luck
  6. I finally found a NAPA store that can make up the paint, the only problem is it about hour away.
  7. Mike on top of being a true gentlemen, you are a real driver.Spotting a mishap well ahead of you and doing something about it.Gald to hear both you and your truck are ok.
  8. GreenDash,I'm afraid your right,it's just the can.Dumb question wtf do they think I'm going to do with an empty can? Brain, does S-W put the paint in a rattle can?
  9. Yes,that's what the fellow told me over the phone.I hope that not just the empty can.I told him I wanted metallic green paint. Will call in the morning.
  10. Thanks for the quick replies, will check out the price of new ones on Monday.I will have to make up the brackets cause I have the extra airtank.Does anyone know of a truck junk yard, they could have some used ones.
  11. I am looking to either build or find 2 good used ones for my B87.The ones i took off were homemade and they were way over kill for what was needed. If anyone has a set of prints or a couple pictures of the ones on their trucks that shows what they were made like it would be great. Once this God Awful weather warms up a little i would like to get the old girl up and running. Thanks Mike Durkin
  12. I just ordered 3 cans from my local NAPA store,he tells me it will be in on Monday after 12.I gave him the B55216000 #and he said thats the # for the met. green.I will be paying about $5.50 a can.Had some paint mixed up before from the local paint supplier and I wasn't that thrilled about the match. Will let you all know what i think. From the looks of the pic from Wobblin-Goblin it will be a better match.
  13. Nice looking truck, would love to drive it.
  14. Happy Birthday to your dad.Wish i still had mine around,he was my best man at my wedding.
  15. Great find Mike,if you put a lowboy behind it I would love to run it for you.To bad I'm a few to many miles away to commute.I think if i ever lived out in the land of open fields like you do i'ld be dangerous.
  16. Joe,the last time we used Pensey was when we did a project down in Linglestown PA.That whole northeast PA area of PA is quite a place to play ball in.The coal crackers as I call them(Latona,Popple,No1 Const.) and others bid jobs on a whole different scale as anyone else.
  17. Spent many a day on a open cab D8K,D9G,not that bad once you have some shrink-wrap.
  18. Joe,Popple hauled stone out of their Red Rock Quarry to one of our projects in the Wilkes-Barre area.Do you ever get around the LaTona crew?I know Joey LaTona quite well.

  21. Other dog, that old chevy you saw with the keystone beer for sale there is a old green truck about 100' feet from the chevy.I would always past it on my way to see my son right down the road at Mount Saint Mary University. The statue is at the grotto they have up behind the school. You may or may not know that Camp David is right over the other side of the mountain from MSM.
  22. jettertrucks,I may know the fellow that has those you looked at.M trying to get ahold of him.If they are not his he will know the fellow, will try and see what with this guy.
