  1. All I can say is that "THE EXPERIMENT HAS FAILED Obama".
  2. Great day for a super truck show.Had the R model there, loved that red B61 with the custom pickup body.
  3. I've seen them 2 blue ones, you are right they are old and ugly. They weren't cared for very well over the years.
  4. Jesse Baro hauled a lot of stone for us when we did drug plant out in Collegeville back in the early 90's.Good outfit always had Macks and kept them nice.
  5. I see the ABC's truck going by my shop everyday, hauling concrete for the Walsh job.
  6. This truck is about as rust free of a truck that you will ever find.Next to my b87 that i'm doing now it's the best cab i have seen in a long time. The cab, hood, fenders are worth the buy it now price, with the price of good body work now a days. The painting of the frame is nothing compared to rust problems. The WB is long enough to make into a dump or a rollback.
  7. I was told that you won't find a triaxle between Philly and the NY state line.I've throughout about getting 2 of them one for me and the other one for my son,but I don't think the work load will last long enough.Good Luck
  8. I just got mine in the mail.
  9. With all this talk about 5-7 miles per gallon is getting me excited. Now i know my old truck doesn't have all the power of these new trucks but i will put the old girl up against anything on the road.I have a 335 cummins, triplex trans,65,000 rears. The ratio is 9.05.I get in around 3mpg empty loaded 1-1.5mpg.I can remember running out to a job we had outside of Baltimore MD,in Hunt Valley Md.We would run out rt 30 from Philly to York,PA then we would take Rt83 down to the state line.We make it out with the load but would have to get fuel before we headed home.I have the truck in the shop now doing it over. It's a 1964 Mack B873SX.Been in the family since new, wouldn't trade it for nothing.Oven in the summer, icebox in the winter wouldn't have it any other way.
  10. Have you ever replaced the injectors? The whole injector pump may need to be redone.Blow out the fuel lines may have some dirt in them.
  11. I know the owner, the truck looks great.
  12. Whats the condition of the cabs?Do either one run?
  13. That sat in the parking lot of a local watering hole for over a year.I had left notes in the cab but got no call back.
  14. Great pic 2stacksuperdog.Miss the show,to many things on the honey do list. That red B81 dump i know the fellow that owns it.Hoping to have the B87 at the next show.
  15. Some of those old WAWA R models must of had a million miles on them, never seen one broke down. Great looking trucks for company trucks.
  16. What kinds of toys do we have to haul around?I collect old Caterpillar tractors.
  17. If they lasted after being driven by some of the yum yum we had they'd last forever.
  18. Truck looks great keep up the great work.Love the history of your truck.I'm in the process of redoing our 1964 B87 tractor that has been in the family from new.
  19. Great looking truck would love to have it.Now that you have our attention and our we're all drawling get to the story.
  20. Nice tractor,we had 15 of those DM's dumps the only thing I hated about them were that you would bounce your balls off when they were empty. As long as you kept the oil changed the motor run forever.
  21. I have both of my trucks with antique tags, one time fee.Ins. cost me about 300 for both. You don't need a cdl if you have the antique tags. The only thing you can't do is make money with them, once you have the antique tags.I am able to pull a trailer which i hope to do one of these days.
  22. Over the years we did a lot of work at both Bethlehem steel and US Steel in Fairless Hills,PA outside of Philly. The last job we did at US Steel was back around 1990,we had to cap a tar pit.At the same time they had sold one of their blast furnace to China.Every morning they would pile off the ship and take the plant down by hand and load it onto the boat. Most of that plant in now a landfill.FWD bit of local news, our home town of Huntingdon Valley now has it first WAWA.Firetruck looks great.
  23. Very nice looking truck, would love to have it.Whats the weight rating of the truck. What's the price?
  24. Thanks for posting, great video.Wonder if any of those truck are still around.
  25. I have only one problem with your shop, not having water I can handle that. But if built that I'ld have to have a space for the bed.You all know sooner or later we get ourselves in the dog house, with a dog house like you built I wouldn't mind being in the dog house.Come to think of it I'ld do more stupid things just to get sent out to the dog house.
