  1. I will check the last and only bone yard here in Philly and see if that aircleaner is on one of these truck on Saturday.
  2. I have some info about this place. It was where a fellow by the name of Jack Jones would park his stuff years back.Jack has since past.I don't know if he owned the property. One of my old drivers from that area has been there. He said if I come up to his place he will take to it.I may take him up on the offer either Monday or Tuesday suppose to be a wet one here,so I will have the time to kill.
  3. I think it is just south of the tunnel on the right side going north.I have passed there 1000's of times,it been awhile since i've been up there but I think it was all clean out then.
  4. Congrats,glad everything went well.
  5. Mike is that the one right before you get to the Lehigh tunnel on the right side as you go north.
  6. I have seen this truck up close,it's been in my shop all winter.I must say if someone is looking for a good running truck that doesn't need a whole lot of Big $$$ dump into it this is the truck you want.It was driven down to my shop on it own power and ran fine. You can drive it to your next show as it is now or you can clean it up some.Frame is very straight and not bowed out like most are.
  7. Looks great, hope my B87 comes out as nice. Will be doing mine all red, since that was our company color and that how it left the factory.
  8. That the million dollar ? If it 's as clean as it looks you can expect to pay alittle more for it.These smaller truck are sometimes more $ because I would rather have one of them instead of say a Ford F550 or a 650.The Mack is built for what you will be using it for.Keep up on the maintenance and you will be surprize with how long it will last.
  9. Looks nice and clean, would check over the frame real close.Since it has a plow on it ,it may also had a salt spreader on the back that would have rotted everythind back there. We had 15 DM600 that had both plows and spreaders and we would wash them down after every snow storm because of the salt.It looks like they have 2 of them, the other one doesn't have the plow,it may be the better of the 2.Plows can be a bit rough on the front end.Good Luck.
  10. What did happen to all of those B81's the were in Die Hard.
  11. ChuckP,that was one of Robert T Hawthrones trucks from Philly. They were the largest demo contractor here back in the 70's and 80's.They only ran Macks.Their maintenance program was don't look at it till it stops.I can remember them hauling some demo into a landfill over the bridge in NJ and the airlines on the tractor wasn't even hooked to the trailer, driver said the trailer had to many air leaks,so that was their solution.
  12. What make me think that if I get out to Lisbon,Ohio one of those b models may be moving to Philly. We all know that dogs like to run in packs,so why wouldn't the other 2 follow.
  13. Happy Easter to all of our extended family here on BMT.Great bunch of fellows.HAPPY EASTER.Hell with the candy,I'll take some NOS Mack Parts.
  14. Baro hauled stone out of Martins Quarry for a job we were doing along 422.
  15. Welcome to the dog pound,we love pictures.
  16. Welcome to the dog pound.
  17. Welcome to the dog pound, like that red b model fire truck.
  18. I think I just soiled my draws watching that.
  19. We had a fleet of 15 of them back in the day.Ours were 79's,triaxles.Other then the bumpie ride they were a good truck.
  20. Welcome to the dog pound.Love that B model.
  21. I've seen a rust colored one park there,it right down from the ice hockey place.Beem meaning to take a pic but always forget the camera.Do you drive for JDM.When your around let me know I'll show you my B87.215-669-1252 Mike Durkin
  22. philatruck,i've seen that new JDM fuel truck.Very plain but is a rather nice looking truck. It's your typical JDM,or late Durkin trucks that were just plain janes that got the job done.I can recall back in 98 when I was looking for a new tractor to put under our lowboy and my dad over heard me talking to the Pete salesmen. After I hung the phone he said stick with what got you here, and that would be a MAck.So you know what truck we brought.Mack CL700 with the V8.The more we loaded her down the better she pulled.Came out of Bethleham Steel one morning at 3:30 am loaded with our Cat 375 and I tilted the scales at 204,000,the only downside was my permit was good foe 198,000.I crossed my fingers and went.
  23. Mark, that truck from Daily was an owneroperator that works for them I think his name was Jihn Parsons,he made some moves for us.That had a E9 in it,i think he sold that one and has a newer truck now.
