  1. C'mon, now that you brought it up, you have to post photos!
  2. Those are really good! We can see how you improved with age! I never really noticed that you are into Wheel Horse lawn mowers - I was at a auction last week where they sold two older ones. They brought more than the newer other brand tractors did - one of them had a badass hydraulic driven tiller on the back and a chrome exhaust that looked factory. Thanks for posting the drawings ----
  3. Is there any warranty on them at all?
  4. Well, that is quite the bummer that your Mack is having these horn and drive line yoke problems..........oh wait...................
  5. That is a good looking little motor that should fit in a short engine compartment better than some - if it is too tall, just add a scoop on the hood! even has power steering ready to go....
  6. You win the honor prize! If your volunteer departments are like the ones around here, they are short on funds but long on dedication - if someone would give them a hand up like you are, they will put it to good use.
  7. I think you are closer with the spellin' than anyone else is - as far as what they are, I am going to have to let someone else whip up a batch and take photos of it all for you - I got run out of the kitchen the last time I did it because I left oil film on the stove backsplash - I thought if you can't see it then it is clean?
  8. It looks more like a D6 to me
  9. That thing looks pretty good for its age - someone took care of it during its working life and they did a good job making the ROPS for it as well.
  10. Must have been a U-U model
  11. If'n the fish be caught back in '47, I would stay away from it as well
  12. Quote of the day!
  13. Luce-y - What is the latest in your current breakdown saga? Are you rolling yet?
  14. Based on Vinny's posts, his drawings have improved but his spelling took a turn for the worse when he started texting and other related computer nonsense.
  15. Is dat a U model in the bakground? Can you get the numver of it the next time you go ther?
  16. And you survived! at least so far........... any stomach troubles? any flames coming out the bottom area? Now that we have got over that hurdle - what the heck kind of grub is that on the bottom of the sign - Maluski?
  17. NO NO NOT NOPE! Twasn't me! I have had to light a few candles after using the bathroom, but I have never set the room on fire! To his credit, he honestly repented and is a real nice guy now and a very straight up and professional fireman. But one of us always makes sure the new guys hear the story!
  18. It says they have 10 acres of Mack parts - tell them for the price they have to throw a used one in on the deal?
  19. Vinny - Those are really good! The front half of the 3D U model is really good, but the back half looks like it it bent in half. I have a son that likes to draw and he said one time that it is hard to draw tires at an angle in 3D. The B model drawing did not show up. You might add another spoke to the rear of the DM800? Keep it up Vinny - it keeps your mind off school work and girls and on important things like U models.
  20. Makes you wonder if van driver had a heart attack or something long before he hit the truck - god rest his soul.
  21. When I was a senior in high school, they had a payphone in the vestibule(five dollar word) and a kid in my class waited there while his buddy sat fire to the bathroom. Then he called the fire department so he could be the big hero. Now he works for the local fire department.
  22. Paul - Very interesting! Take more pics if you get the bid. Those links posted are really interesting as well - I liked: The story is told of the Italian immigrant in the late 1800s in New York who learned three things on arrival: ``First, the streets aren't paved with gold. Second, they aren't paved at all. And third, you're expected to pave them.''
  23. There would have been more profit margin if while I went to pay, someone had not stolen the PTO shaft out of the mower.
  24. The real cool thing about it is that my Uncle and his dad & uncle were a AC dealer and he sold it new to the guy - the WISE BROTHERS sticker is still on the side. I think I may have to park it back in the barn just for that reason. I know that no one would really care, but it also has the optional finger reel with the ultra rare for a E model - hydraulic fore and aft adjustment on the reel. He put all new belts on it a few years ago and new internal drag chains on the clean grain and return grain elevators. A perfect example of how you never get your money out of something like that when it comes time to sell it.
  25. Ha! Those photos don't do that thing justice. I met the owner and he is 85 years old and bought it new. It is a beautiful thing - amazing that he kept it so clean all those years. When we left he kept apologizing that the sun umbrella had bird poop on it.
