  1. I am suprised but "gin" is evidently a real person! He responded to my warning about sending private messages. He asked how to get in touch with people who might sell truck parts, I told him to post messages in the "Wanted to Buy" section...
  2. Where can you get one? My B died the other day during warm up...just faded away like it was outta fuel, thought maybe something was frozen...tried again when it was above freezing, no luck, took the primary filter off Saturday, it was full, and looked alright, there is no fuel in the injector pump, and when I pump the hand pump, I get nothing...Primary and secondary filters were replaced last year, would not think they are plugged...I am thinking it is the pump... PS...My primer pump leaks off and on...
  3. The two messages sent were identical...so it is probably an autobot or some such...if he sends another one, just post it here and we will excommunicate him! Here is what I sent him...
  4. I can blast his account if need be...I am not sure of Barry's rules about soliciting thru private messages...if he had posted in the classifieds tat's one thing...
  5. Cab is the same, the floor is different...the steering box had to be moved back. In My 615 the steering wheel is much more upright than a regular B-Model..
  6. Guess I'm gonna have to switch to GEICO!
  7. Give Progressive a call....
  8. Plan for the Superliner...clean, polished working truck look...a few tastefull clearance light additions...maybe LED light replacements...something a proud owner would do to his working truck...for the B...I am thinking as close as I could get it to be period correct...just my opinion...like to see most mods others do...everybody has an opinion!
  9. I guess it is only a problem when you add the fourth step...."bust your a$$"
  10. Superliner manual says to use "three points of cantact"!!
  11. Action starts at 3:48...lots of cool info...Ken, you oughta post a video of yours starting!
  12. I can only assume the previous owner didn't use deep reduction and did not want to spend the $80 for a new valve once the old one took a dump, probably from lack of use...only took me about an hour to fix it! Deep reduction is cool!!! Now I just need 80000lbs of wheat in a dump trailer to pull up out of a field!
  13. I try to use a DIFFERENT HAND!
  14. Just found this one, this is more like what I remember my Grandpa doing...I believe the lever down below held the exhaust valves open to let the engine spin faster to build oil pressure quicker...and I remember have to push the fuel knob in and turn it to lock it on the pony motor!
  15. One of my YT favorites!
  16. Thanks...will keep that in mind!
  17. Any of you Superdog guys have a left side exhaust bracket you would sell?
  18. Did a 180 mile round trip to XXXXX truck salvage because he told me he had PLENTY of 24.5 aluminum wheels...I could pick the best two for $150 each...got up there and he had deep gouged and beat up crap! the only two I could find were an Alco and an Accuride (I think) and the groove around the face of the rim was different! I told him before hand that they were going on a show truck and needed to be good enough shape to polish! Talk about pissed!
  19. Just got back from a backroads/I-80 run...been nasty weather last few days didnt get to drive it for two whole days!
  20. One of the coolest memories from my younger years was watching my grandpa start his old D8 with the pony motor! That was f*kin cool! IF I could find an old D8, and IF I had the money and IF I had a place to operate it, I would buy one!
  21. About a month ago...mid December...

Somewhere in PA yesterday, two men were hurt from a flying telephone pole after a penndot plow snagged one with his bed up...it was all over the news this morning...heard the two men would be okay...
  23. The superliner has been running everyday around here (I leave it on the block heater) at 8-16 degrees...it was in the mid 20's Sunday...fired up the B model...warmed her up, after about 10 minutes, she just died away like the filters were plugging...must be gellin...it'll be 40 around here tommorrow...will try to cranker up again...
  24. Single frame and it WILL be pressured washed tomorrow!
