  1. The hinges are going to be interesting at best...One half is spot welded under the curved part of the lower dash on each side...normally the ears on the glove box side break near the hinge...so even if you find a set, you have to drill out the rivets in the hinge, and I am here to tell you, there aint no way to get a drill in there to drill them out! Several days of work and you may get the rivets drilled out without bending off/snapping off the part that is welded to the dash underneath! What I did then was use nylock nuts and bolts to make the hinges "snug" like the rivets did...a pain in the a$$ but the result is worth it...
  2. One side of my truck and lots of Superliner pictures I have show the front mud flap that is smooth on one side and kinda like indoor outdoor carpet on the other side...anybody have a source for these? The ones at the mack dealer do not look right?
  3. I have had it 82, did not want to go any faster! (I pass as many as I can!, but not in the fog!)
  4. Thanks! That is what it is..
  5. Anybody know the manufacturer of this type of trailer?
  6. Out riding yesterday...the fog came in quick! It has been the same way all day today! Visibility anywhere from 10 to 100 feet! Them air wipers got a workout today!
  7. Oh, by the way, I "fixed" the door handle so it doesn't grab me!
  8. What does your comment have to do with the subject of this post?
  9. If you find what you are after and you wanna get rid of the hubs, I would be interested if they are 38K budd type...
  10. The button is plastic, but the metal plate the button attaches to is the valve plate...it is either broken off, or the previous owner took the plate out...either way, the air is probably cut off to the stick...
  11. Windshield washer tank leaked whenever you added washer fluid so I changed it out today...PITA getting the door panel out, a little different than the B...HINT....TAKE OUT THE KEYLOCK CYLINDER FIRST! It makes the job SO much easier! Why does a plastic tank spring a leak you ask? Some ____________ decided to add an addtional upholstery screw at the bottom center of the door, drilled right through the tank! Anyway, things are groovy now, just got back from a shakedown ride, about 40 miles, mix of backroads and I-80!
  12. $62 dollars for these three items! Not complaining though, I'd be dead in the water if they did not have them on the shelf! I broke the door handle taking it off, got a new washer tank from Watts and it came with a modern plug so no pigtail! And the door lock keeper was rusty and jacked!
  13. Calm down! Talkin 'bout the 88 Superliner!
  14. Three or four of us SuperDog'rs oughta get together and buy this one...I could use the wheels and hubs (if they are 24.5 budd type)...dual exhaust stuff, sleeper, , wet line kit, maybe the transmission, few minor things!
  15. Damn! Those airlines for the trailer are about three inches in diameter!
  16. Someone post a photo of correctly positioned door handles and I will correct! Gotta take the passenger door panel off anyway when my washer tank gets here...current one has a hole in it!
  17. I like the skirt on the drivers seat with the Bulldog! Never seen one of those! I cannot wait till Macungie! Gonna take at least 1000 photos on Superliner row!
  18. My B is negative ground...dont know the exact RPM...I just blip the throttle to 800 or so (alternator pulley is overdriven) and the alterator light goes out and shows a charge on the ammeter
  19. She needs a lowboy or a 48 foot van to pull around!
  20. Dont know the wheelbase actually! My magic package from the museum has yet to arrive...think it 210" or so...
