  8. I think it is very clever how they used the same front clip from a pickup truck and made it work with a big truck that was taller and wider!
  9. Wished I would have seen this sooner...it is close enough to go have a look see... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Mack-RW713-Superliner-Tractor-/150953634434?_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&forcev4exp=true#v4-55

  11. Anybody with a parts diagram? I have four parts books, and dont have good diagram! There is a marine shop in town, may go check them out...
  12. Hmmmmmmmm......... I have looked through all of my airbrake catalogs and diagrams, there are not many devices with only two ports that are not check valves! It could be a ratio valve, which is designed to reduce pressure to the front brakes, if so it should NOT be in the line to the rear brakes. A relay valve needs full pressure from the pedal...is there a place on it for a wire? It may be a brake light switch? If it aint either of these you stumped me!
  13. Only two opening? Must be a check valve...but a check valve usually has an arrow marked on it....where is it located and can you verify only two threaded ports?
  14. Went to replace the worn and UGLY intake hose on my truck today...suprised that CTP doesnt have anything?!?....went to the Mack dealer...we looked at diagrams as far back as 1973 and there was nothing that even came close! Does anyone have a source for this 4" flexible hose that runs from the turbo inlet to the firewall (to the aircleaner)...was going to look at brake duct but dont know if it is strong enough to not collapse... Any ideas?
  15. Here are a few dogs at the dealer today...
  16. Does anyone know for sure if the "elephant ear" style of camelback bolt pattern (to the truck frame) is the same as the later style where the entire center section is on the inside frame rail? From all of the pictures I'v seen, they appear similar.
