  2. How about that B615 you never brought home?!?!?!?
  3. What are some opinions on engines other than Mack? Looking around at some Superliners and a few have non Mack motors...What about the others? Looking for opinions on Cat 3406's and Cummings... Thanks Leslie
  4. Are there any issues with mixing antifreeze in a B615 (Big Radiator)? The current "color" is green...can I just get some green antifreeze and be done with it? Thanks Leslie
  5. Got my wife and son to get some video of the operation...Looking at this tells me the frame is not flexing and the bounce is coming from the rears...now some more detective work...comments are welcome!
  6. Never drove with a load...but with a 175 rpm drop between gears with a triplex...I can shift just about wherever I want, it has (besides a few f-ups every now and then) become almost second nature, once you get used to it, you won't even think about the tach...normally I come down my driveway in 1 L and as I get to the bottom, shift up to 2 D to pull out on the road and skip every other gear...today, I pulled out in the road in 1 L and shifted all fifteen, I think the first shift was around 1300...progressing rpm with every shift,,,I was driving like I had 80,000 on the back! What a blast!
  7. Is there more than one Mack 12 speed? I have the shift pattern for the TRTXL 12 speed I have seen videos of people shifting with a knob like show below, I thought it was a simple flip switch with Hi-Lo in each gear...are these two the same trasmission? And is there only one style of Mack 12 speed...I know the later trucks had a dash mounted switch for the front compound
  8. I would be interested in the steering wheel if a 20 or 18 inch....
  9. B615's came with an 864 V-8! That is why they "borrowed" the radiator from the B75...I guess cooling was an issue!
  10. That B615 has to be a B73 or B75 because of the long hood! B615 has the same length as a B61!
  11. So without air you cannot shut the fuel off?
  12. I see it is a fuel cutoff...I can believe electric, but what is the airline on the end for?
  13. In English, the word "You" in this case means anybody!
  14. Вы никогда не бывает слишком много грузовиков!

  17. Do you mean using the "hidden" gear that is Lo position in high range instead of 4th on the Lo side?
  18. Where are you in Kentucky?
  19. We got lucky here in Central PA...hardly andy rain or wind at all...didnt lose power either...pretty bad on the east coast though... I have one question...WITF didnt we FORCE Chris Cristie to run for president! Have you seen his last few press conferences?!? Strong Leadership and telling it like it is!
  20. When I got back to the freeways (driving back from Boyertown) I-81 and I-80, I saw convoy after convoy of power company and tree service trucks heading east! Thought about using my camping generator to run essentials at home in case the power goes out. Made a Darwin plug, cut the mains, and plugged the generator (Yamaha 24SI) into one of the house outlets...viola! I have power on some things, two fridges, the sump pump, and a few lights...too bad the damn water pump is 220! WTF? If it gets bad, me and the ol' lady can stay in the camper!...even have a hot shower (till the water runs out)!
  21. I have ONE B615...if you run across one or a pair, keep me in mind! Thanks
  22. My next step is to have my wife and son drive beside me and video the truck, hopefully I can see something...I have a sad feeleing it is the butchered job they did on the frame lengthening..
