You can check online at your states DMV...in PA, my truck had only a New York registration and a bill of sale...PA sent me a new title right away, no hassles, It depends on the age, if the state it came from did not have titles (New York didnt start until early 70s), then your state should be able to issue one. Update...measured the depth of the hole for the cable and it is plenty long to accomodate the cable...took off the engine side, found the issue. WIth the engine side off, the tach end went on fine. My engine end has an "adapter" piece between the cable and the engine gear. The adapter has a four sided hole for the cable, and a tab that fits in the engine gear and only goes in one way. I guess I was pulling this out from the tach end, and when I turned the tach end slightly to seat it on the engine side, I could feel it go into the adatper, but the adapter did not go into it's slot, which put lots of pressure on the tach end when trying to tighten...

Depending on which broweser and windoze version...look for the tools menu, then the options menu, then there will be a button in the "Temporary Internet Files" or "Browsing History" section and a button marked clear, or delete, just click!
