    The complete frame...I have never seen a stock seat in person so I am only guessing by looking at the bolt holes in my floor and rear "deck", and what few internet pictures I can find... I was going to go for a viking T-Bar as I could make a lower frame for it...the truck came with a bostrom air ride, but sitting all the way down on the floor, it was about four inches too high...I took the seat off and rode on the bare frame for a while...now I have the seat pad on a wooden frame that is not bolted down! (unsafe I know!) I figured the stock seat would be about the same height as the double passenger seat that is in the truck and may look better...

    I'd like the seat frame...do you have a seat that can be recovered? 1 rear hood latch is all I need...mine are rusty, and I am not ready for pretty stuff yet, but I have one where the spring is stretched beyond holding the latch tight...

    If ye're askin...you can bring me two B-Model vent window frames with good latches, a stock B-Model drivers seat frame and seat, two restorable B-model battery boxes with lids, A glove box door with good hinges and latch, and a couple of rusty hood latches for a B-model...oh yeah, a set of angle irons to mount a fifth wheel on a truck with cast external style trunnion cut outs...

    Putting ANYTHING shiny on my truck at this stage would be criminal, like putting a pearl necklace on an old sow! For the $40 it cost for the glass, I'll hunt a replacement frame that has a latch, then clean it up and plate it!

    Can someone post or email me some close up pictures of the vent window latch? Out of all of the pics I've taken and downloaded, I got nuthin'! I cannot tell how the part that the "handle" attaches to fits into the mix...both sides of mine are missing the handle and the handle mount... Thanks

    Picked up my door panel and vent frame today, Safelite did a great job! All for $121 total! pretty damn good if you ask me... Now to get the drivers side off...

    The common manual adjusted ones use a worm and spur setup...the adjuster screw has a worm gear attached. the spline part has an external spur gear that the worm drives. As the ends of the worm gear are fixed in postion by the slack adjuster housing, if the teeth are not broken or worn down so as to slip, I would think the the locking mechanism is shot or slipping...the ratio is such that the spur can "drive" the worm if the locking mechansim has failed...Tighten the brake down, then watch the adjustment nut as the brakes are applied, I think you will see it spin....

    I guess I am easy to impress...but I feel great! just got back from a night ride on the backroads (testing out my new fender mount dual element turn signals)... HItting the gears like butta' (what clutch?!?) LIttle red high beam light in the dash works, making the shift from 5low to 4hi like there was only one stick involved... I was able to make about four thirty minute trips today (just like yesterday)... fix a little something, go for a ride... I hope all of you get to drive your old iron at least once a day!

    Have verified the trans drive and speedometer operational...now on to the cable...something is missing from the speedometer end...shouldnt it have a large nut like on the tranny end? There is no large flange to hold the nut that I can see and was wondering it there were some split collar setup for the speedo end... Are these cables pretty much standard as far as the threads on each end? Can I buy a replacement? Thanks

    I took my passenger side door panel and vent window to the glass shop... They were sitting around, before I got out of my pickup I yelled into the garage and asked if they were ready for a challenge... The man said give him a couple of days...to be continued...

    My desk shook for a several seconds in central PA! Could not believe it when the news started coming across! We have several vibratino sensors on some pieces of equipment and they registered the disturbance! Hope everyone is Okay...
