  6. Congrats and glad everything worked out...
  7. Going to be ordering vent and door window glass from Watts... Has anyone replaced these? What holds the glass in place? What do you use to "mount" the new glass in the frame/regulator? Thanks
  8. It's obvious...smell it, diesel has a dis "stink" tly different smell than rotting tuna!!
  9. Thanks for all the reply's...All of the lines are in good shape...I cannot believe a dirty fuel filter would bring my mighty Mack to a screeching halt! A new primary and secondary fuel filter ($20) and all is well! Now I just have to get the wheel put back together (from the King pin replacement)!
  10. Went to warm up the truck, everything normal, after about ten minutes, it acted like I pulled the fuel cutoff out slowly and it finally died, not quick but slowly...after a minute or so, cranked it and it tried to start but obviously only had a little fuelll It was getting dark, so all I did was unscrew the primer and give it a few pumps, which resulted in plenty (I think!) of fuel...the primer felt like it was full... So the question is where to start...Tonite I will read all I can on fuel injectors...buy new filters tommorrow, then wait for some good advice from the forum... Thanks
  11. I saw that on the news this morning...I have never driven a dump trailer, but how would you not feel that thing was up going down the freeway?!?
  12. ANyone know anything about Kevin All? His website is non resposive...don't know if the address changed or soemthing else..
  13. Well, if nothing else, I know how my fuel injector works!
  14. 'prolly gonna sell them battries and get 'em some oxy's...what city? I'm from Cumberland...
  15. Thanks for the info!
  16. Were they done at the factory? Or a dealership? So, the crux of it is that the parts you "see" are new, but the mechanicals are original, and is this a negative?!?
  17. I guess I'll never know unless I ask, I see it mentioned often...what is a "glider", or "glider kit"
  18. Mine is stamped on top of the accessory drive on the front passenger side of the engine...right in front of the injection pump...
  19. Must be nice! When I set up the motorcycle jack to take off the spindle/drum, I mis-judged which way the wheel assembly would go...kinda set the drum on the motorcycle jack cradle...came off nice but when it cleared it fell forward (I had it chained to not fall backwards!) the drum dinged the spindle threads a tiny but, but I can chase them...will probably build a little wooden helper to mount the wheel assembly to the jack so I can smoosh it on!
  20. Finally something was EASY! Brought the super-duper bushing driver kit home from work... drove the old bushings and seals out, drove the new ones in! Beautanimous! Now all I have is to clean, prime and paint and reassemble!
  21. A what? Did you say "ute"? What is a ute?
  22. Do anyone know any mfg'r that sells indiviual bushing drivers? I need an 1 1/2 and an 1 1/4...all of the sets I have see max out at 1 3/8's. Thanks
  23. Watts Mack has replacement wipers that are nice...I bought a set for mine...have you been through the online B model catalog? Its loaded with goodies
  24. I likes me a SuperLIner! Lots of them there! Nice Pictures! Thanks
  25. When I was a teenager...and rode with my Dad in the coal truck (1965 Ford 950 Super Duty)...at the end of the day, he would back it up our steep driveway up into a little cove that terminated in a 60 foot pine... One day when it hit the pine (signal to stop) he didnt get the clutch in fast enough and she ran backwards a few seconds....Awesome seeing all the smoke coming out of the hood scoop! (he didnt think it was cool though!) One of those little memories I wil lnever forget!
