  1. Very roomy and comfortable cabs, I ran a couple of them for a while, but more of a pickup truck feel than a semi truck (to me anyway) But still much nicer than GMC or Chevy
  2. My dad had a 1973B Cat (245 HP with the turbo) in a 66 Ford H100 "Two Story Falcon" he had taken the pump apart, went through it, removed shims, did some other things which I can't recall, but he turned it up, put a 3.70 rear in the truck, and turned 10th gear around in the roadranger, that little Cat would run with 318 green Leakers, and 290 Cummins. It had 1,000,000 miles on it when he sold it, and he had only done the heads the whole time he had it! It still ran great, and had very little blowby, and great oil pressure! Pics taken in "73" You can see the old style "CAT" decal on the back of the cab behind the grab rails in the pic of the left side of the truck

  21. That's what I thought Maddog, I figured that big 707 HAD to have some pulling power. I know the 48B Continental in a 48 Brockway, which was one of my dad and uncle's trucks, did a great job according to my dad, for a gasser. My uncle put a Browning three speed aux. in it though. About 3 MPG ! Lol
  22. SWEET !! Welcome to the world of the Bulldog! I have only had my first Mack for a few months myself and I love it! Enjoy !!
  23. Does anyone know if the old 707 gas job out pulled the 672 C.I. diesel, in either non turbo and turbo? I know they were rated at more power, can't remember if they have more torque or not, being a gas engine, I wouldn't imagine it to be much more if it was, and then only because of the larger displacement.
  24. Hmmmmmmm, a bit pricey just to shift quicker! Lol. Guess I'll just have to live with it!
  25. Yep, that's why I said I could shift that main box a lot faster with a Jake
