  1. No longer playing in the dirt.
  2. Possibly 1927-1928? Not really sure how AB numbers work. A couple numbers I have show a 1926 AB as 508771. A 1929 listed as 4AB1CH1401 and a 1934 listed as 4AB1SH1464. Might be worth asking the museum.
  3. Looks like a project! As indicated T is for single axle tractor.
  4. What type of engine are you working with? What year truck? Cable clutch?
  5. I will check my stash this afternoon also. _________________________________ Just checked, Sorry, struck out.
  6. If the sheet metal data tag is missing from the pass. side of the block, the engine code is stamped into the top of the timing gear case in front of the injection pump. It's worth? Depends. Does it run? How well was it wrapped up? Did water get in and freeze? Why was it taken out of service? How many hours? It is 2,000 lbs. What is the price of scrap?
  7. Has the look of a DM. Big frame and a DM style fuel tank. Can you get the engine number?
  8. 80W-90 gear oil. Capacity 36 pints (4.5 gals.)
  9. Not sure of the last year but quads were still available in 1977.
  10. The two valve continued to be used in DM's into the late 80's with the tip turbine because the steel hard nose wasn't able to accommodate the chassis mounted air cooler (CMCAC). In 1988, the DM-690 was fitted with the CMCAC.
  11. Happy Birthday! Don't spend your whole day on buffing paint.
  12. Hard working Chicago area B now has a more leisurely schedule.

  13. On EM's for example, an EM6-275 (max torque 1038 @ 1020 RPM) could be coupled to a TRL 1076 5 speed transmission. You can pick up R model operations manuals off ebay. Having multiple reverse gears is an excellent feature of the 107.
  14. Telling us your truck had been hit by a front end loader would have been some real handy information to put into your first post.
  15. Last couple of storms have been a pain. Good time not to have a beach house.
  16. Install a pressure gauge into the fuel line and check that the fuel transfer pump is getting at least 20 psi output to the injection pump. The transfer pump may be getting tired or the fuel hose may have deteriorated internally and causing a flow restriction.
  17. Hiding in plain sight.
  18. True enough. I am mulling another FoMoCo SD and have been pleased with the existing chassis. Probably will sniff around the Chevy just a little for comparison.
  19. By golly, this may be the basis for a made for tv movie! Does your cat have an agent?
  20. http://www.worktruckonline.com/channel/vehicle-research/news/story/2018/01/2019-chevrolet-silverado-is-450-pounds-lighter-with-wider-bed.aspx Bob, stop looking at them chebbies. You're a Ford guy!
  21. Some real possibilities for a Henry fan.
  22. Excellent! Only thing missing now will be the new truck smell. Hmmmm..... maybe a new flavor for the little tree folks?
  23. Oil field service work handled easily by a B-80 series Mack. With all the steel talk in the news lately, I am fairly confident that all the steel in this picture was made in America.
