  1. Sorry, no part numbers. A heavy duty fuel injection pump shop should have them as well as Mack or a PAI dealer.
  2. I heard that 2013 is approx. the date when utility or smaller farm tractors had an increase in computers and emission controls. Sort of keeping my eye out for pre '13 for the ranch because of that.
  3. Skip the Air Gap. You need torque down low for trailer pulling. May not be a problem but for a daily driver having something with an intake exhaust crossover will help with carb icing. Sucks to be running errands during the winter and the carb freezes.
  4. I think the manufacturers put it in because most drivers aren't smart enough to work their left and right feet at the same time. Pretty inconvenient to have to modulate the pedals while you are using both thumbs for sending a text....
  5. Sounds like you have a plan....... Interested to see if a carb will wake the 350 up.
  6. Cascadia doesn't have enough power for a wheelie.... Kids.... Obviously a different type of truck but my automatic F250 has a "Hill Start Assist".
  7. Here is a wiring diagram a couple years older. It may help. Click the arrow to open link and then click the pdf. There is a list of circuit breakers in the lower right.
  8. You can try Automotive Manufacturers, Richmond VA (804) 321-6861.
  9. Tell the boss to take it out of service on his schedule which will be much better than DOT's schedule. Didn't you want to go fishing next Wednesday.....
  10. A real working truck!
  11. Hmmm.... drag racer needing to swap u-joints.... who saw that coming....? Dang kids..... Liked my 94 F150 and wish I still had it. Like Spicer joints as well.
  12. Finally found my Zoppo picture from the New England Chapter Show in Hudson, MA around 2000 or so. A 1952 Mack LTL is on the next trailer.
  13. Boy, that reminds me of a Parker's Express truck from Avon, MA minus the green spokes.
  14. 3 speeds needed more maintenance and the gear lube HAD to be changed on a strict schedule. It was something to try and gave trucks more gears and tighter splits. With the development of Eaton 13 speed transmissions and others, 3 speed axles were set aside. A manufacturer has to keep thinking and developing new ideas or they will get left behind.
  15. Ahhh, Eaton 3 speed axles for tandem suspension. For low range operation, both axles were in low. high speed, both axles in high. Intermediate speed was accomplished by having one axle in low and the other in high. The interaxle differential took care of the rest! You know where this is going.... A lot of interaxle differentials got torn up and died. Soon it was highly recommended to use either high or low for both axles. The intermediate speed was best left for sitting around the campfire and talking about the good old days!
  16. Very handsome rig!
  17. Don't look good on either.
  18. The vent window stays together as an assembly. To replace the vent window, the door lock cylinder needs to be removed and the three screws holding the lock to the door frame, then the inner door panel comes out and the window surround trim. Remove the screws holding the outer window weatherstrip. Remove the screws holding the vent window assembly. Slide the vent window backwards for clearance and remove.
  19. The T-2090 is a solid transmission and the swap will be easier staying within the Mack family.
  20. Congrats Bob!
  21. Somewhere I had the code but it is currently MIA. Even with the code, most paint guys can't use the code to make the seafoam paint. The old code recipe is not in their system. I would probably take a small piece off the interior, buff it and have a automotive paint store use their camera to scan it.
  22. Best bet would be to take the axle number to your heavy duty parts house to get the correct spec drum.
  23. You forgot to show a picture of Ashley out fishing.
