  1. Nice! What are your plans for it? What does it have for a motor, trans and rears? 80 - year. RWL - Superliner, aluminum frame. K - glider kit 700 - chassis series 1159 - sequential number
  2. A handsome pair of dogs!
  3. T S. That will keep you busy for a little bit.
  4. A beautiful rig powered by a hummin' Cummins.
  5. Well..... wasn't that fun.
  6. Hope so. Going to be better than a new truck.
  7. Delayed reaction....? Seems good now!
  8. Thanks. Tried that and still have it. Hmmm....
  9. My home page is still FUBAR.
  10. Weight fully dressed with turbo and clutch is 2200 lbs. Not sure on the trans but 600-700?
  11. Uggghhhhh...... That sucks.
  12. Ahhhh..... electrical issues. Adding another ground never hurts. I have found GM A bodies were always notorious for needing another ground to the dash. I have a length of wire with alligator clips for testing things out. So i would use it to make a temporary ground and see what that gets you. You may have already double or triple checked your work but I was chasing a problem and had connected the dimmer switch on a B incorrectly and it was back feeding the harness causing gremlins.
  13. Thanks! 1 out of 5 is bad here. Replacement procedure is easy.
  14. The truck is an LTSW. That is its model identification. If I was selling it, the Mack would be listed as an LTSW. Why not give the most accurate description possible? When introduced in 1950, the LTLSW utilized a tremendous amount of aluminum in its construction and these were features not used in the LTSW. The LTLSW weighed about 2,000 lbs less than an LTSW.
  15. LTSW is a legit Mack model. So, this may be the last "LTSW" but the LTLSW and LTHSW continued until 1956.
  16. Nice rig! Loosen the hose clamps and hoses. Undo the fasteners for the front support rods between the rad. and the cowl. Also loosen slightly the front hood hinge/strip bracket. Close the hood but don't latch. Remove the two large radiator nuts under the front crossmember. Pull the top of the rad. forward to allow the center hood strip to slide out of the bracket. With assistance, remove the hood and with some more help and a selection of cuss words, the radiator comes out as an assembly. Removing the fasteners from between the radiator flange and grill will separate everything.
  17. I have both of his excellent books and another Montville Mack book would certainly be welcomed.
  18. Don't like the price or the stuck engine, but it is pretty impressive it has survived in relatively decent condition.
  19. Click a pic of the plant when you get set up.
  20. Your truck looks great on the cover and good article inside!
  21. No real details but here is one that is done. https://www.hagerty.com/articles-videos/articles/2017/02/20/mack-truck
