  1. Hippy (70mackMB) is behind the wheel either making vrooom vrooom noises or just confirming that the dog is further away in a B compared to his MB. Rick is explaining to Bob (Red Horse) the secret for driving double pup trailers around from an out of business freight company. Apparently, wearing black shoes, black pants, black shirt, black hat and sunglasses makes you invisible! Rick did the Ballston Spa and Worcester show double weekend with his Freightshaker and trailers.

Have fun! Are you running the original mechanicals?
  3. Happy Birthday!
  4. Making deliveries of outdoor boilers with its 1989 Hiab folding crane. I wonder what the correlation is between miles driven/hours worked and how worn the aluminum diamond tread tank step is?
  5. Nice progress! You know it will be done (for now) when a new clutch rubber is installed.
  6. "Outbehindthebarn" Rig looks very good!
  7. Here is a some of the back story and a few specs. https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/topic/33254-1993-superliner-for-sale/
  8. It was about 90 degrees and bright sun at the show. Since this is New England, the owner wasn't taking a chance with a quick change in the weather...
  9. Your Mack truck dealer or a PAI dealer such as the link. https://store.reliableindustries.com/heavy-duty-truck-and-trailer-parts/mack/pai-mack-11mr318m2-breaker-30amp/
  10. I want a bigger sandbox!
  11. For the fasteners, use a torque chart to figure out what you need. It will depend on size of bolt, thread and grade. Click link for a chart. https://www.boltdepot.com/fastener-information/bolts/US-Recommended-Torque.aspx Bearing should be adjusted until there is a slight drag or if a dial indicator is available between .003 and .008 end play. The lock nut would be tightened to 300-400 lbs ft. Having the bearings a tiny bit loose is better than too tight.
  12. Different rigs. John W's is a 48 and Ralph's is a 45.
  13. Fire truck such as R-611F, MC-685F, CF-688F. Some fire truck builders would buy a commercial chassis from Mack and build it up so the VIN may start as R-487P (single axle straight chassis) for example.
  14. No mullet.... Unless Jaime Pressly is involved.
  15. Listed as an "F" but now a single axle tractor. The directional lights in the bumper and the twin spots indicate its early life as a fire unit.
  16. Last I knew, J.J. Nissen is part of Bimbo Bakeries (Mexican multinational).
  17. Sounds like he needs a sticky note on his steering wheel with a reminder not to do that anymore....
  18. Could be. North Union is out in western PA and the MB now features NY plates.
  19. Nice! Sign shop out front and body shop in the back.
  20. Here is a series switch diagram. Hopefully it will help in diagnosing your situation. https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/70-wiring-schematic-for-series-parallel-switch/
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. Served North Union Township VFD as Engine 2.
  23. Supposedly, Friday the 6th, will have Mack fire equipment as the focus.
